- Happy Easter everyone! Thumbs up if you enjoyed! This took quite a while to create and was much longer than anticipated but I am very happy with the result! This was an interesting shortcuts & glitches challenge to say the least.

Rules:
Levels 1-5: 1 point
Levels 6-8: 2 points
Levels 9-10: 3 points (attempt until someone makes it)
Power-ups:
- x2 - If you make the shortcut, you get double points. (must use before attempting shortcut)
- Outward Drifter - Force your opponent to use an outward drifting bike for one shortcut
- Gotta Go Fast - Both players drive a lap of the track and must at least attempt the shortcut. Whoever gets the fastest time gets double the amount of points for the shortcut.

Clarifications: (Spoilers)
Bowser Castle 3 took forever so I just montage'd a lot of it and cut quite a bit out to avoid it being a complete drag to watch. i didn't show many of the attempts since they were all pretty similar as you can see. Colton went first on that level too even though his first attempt wasn't in the mini montage (we got the order mixed up so it wasn't included).
Also, the Maple Treeway thing at the end isn't a useful glitch unlike the rest of the shortcuts and glitches if that wasn't obvious enough. I also skipped the 10 minutes of fails from Matt and Colton and just showed each of their final attempts since the video was already way too long. After it was over, Matt was just messing around and trying to get it again for fun.

I just keep circling back to your videos, I really wish I discovered this community in 2012, not 2015. It's just not the same, Mr Bean has done a great job keeping the game alive, I just wish there were prominent members in the community. But I get it, you're much older now, off to bigger and better things. So good luck, I hope maybe the next iteration of Mario kart may draw you back in, but nothing will ever compare to MKwii, especially seeing the pathetic excuse of a game that is Mario kart 8. I fear this game will dwindle out for good soon. Arguably it has already.
I discovered the community in 2010 and throughout the years, the community has never really picked up huge momentum, and though I have poured hundreds of hours into the game over the years, it's sad to see that all of what's left of it is slowly fading away.
SuillaIsAwesome I share a similar opinion, but at its peak it was almost, just almost getting somewhere.
+De Synthed +De Synthed yea. There should be a Mario kart wii u. It would have the same physics as Mario kart wii with all the same tracks with the ability to easily add custom tracks. And there would be active servers and modded gamemodes. All with Mario kart 8 graphics

+De Synthed community is still pretty big. And it's not Bean keeping it alive. More or less Wiimm and Leserate, as well as all the modders there still are. Which is over 45 at least
This was hilarious! Great vid! Those dislikes are from Colton. Yep, he made ten accounts to dislike this video. There would be more, but o the eleventh he failed the robot test. That is when Colton realized... He is a robot. He went on the live his robot life.

Troy!!!! If you made a shortcut challenge tournament where it was Sword v. NMeade and Troy went up against the winner, I would shit a golden monster truck, bring it too you, and marry you on the spot with the truck being your wedding ring. :)
when I was 9 I could do the gap jump AFTER bouncing of the mushroom in the cave AND wheeling to gain more speed and cut off more of the gap and I could do it everytime

Well once I got into the glitch part, but then I went the wrong way and ended up in the other part of the mall.
Ever since that day I've never made it into the glitch area.

26:30 Troy should've gone to the secret picnic spot.
on a 3pt shortcut: use all 3 power ups. so the x2 and the ggf make it 12 pts or 6 if you dont make it. then the other player has to use the outside drifting bike so u will get the better lap

I have a guess what Troy's 50k subscriber special is. It is gonna be a showdown between Colton,Connor, and troy. Mkwii released on April 10 2008 and troy said in the description of this video and on twitter it was going to be uploaded on April 10 this year. And according to Fail and Recovery 7 with connor, troy brought up the topic that the first time he played mkwii was with Connor and Colton back in 2008. He would do this to see who Improved the most in mkwii by a 7 year time span.

Once I was doing the DKJP glitch and I accidentally clipped the tree. I flew extremely high and landed on the cannon. The lap didn't count. :(
