pssssh my uncle's friend's dishwasher makes 750. He used to give people rides on it, and put a hundred dollar bill on the back, and he would say "son you can have that 100 bucks if you can grab hold of it in the middle of an aggressive power wash cycle." *adjusts boomer jeans and laughs to myself* Nobody ever did get that hundred bucks. Sheeee-oooot. Jangle muh spurs! : p

Hate to break it to you guys, and I love my LS powered Fox, but the first Gen Shelby GT500 5.4 will hold up to more power than any of the LS motors you’ve tested not just stock bottom end, but stock longblock all together. Take the blower off, add a pair of snails, you can make 1200-1400whp without touching the internals. We made a customer 1170whp with twin 6870 PTE turbos through a Glide, so that would be even more through a 6 speed and there was more power to be made at that point. LS mills aren’t the only engines that can make huge power stock, they just do it the most budget friendly.

They even when Sia claimed made 850 horsepower. This enabled the Stratos to do 0 to 60 in 3 seconds in sand! the thing needs to be huge to compensate something like 2000Liters of air per second warming up tens of degrees at that rate. That thing melts ice like crazy. Think how long the warm water needs to be in a huge refridgerator, to get back to ice? You need like a 100horsepower refridgerator, which is going to maybe add power afterall, but its going to be bigger than a roots blower, and need more coolant than the ice-bucket.
Neither is good for endurance racing, ice is pretty good for drag/topspeed stuff. Endurance guys need to deal with ambient-air-intercoolers

I like doing it the hard way. There's no challenge in building an LS. Yes they're great, but anyone can do a "full bolt ons" LS. So.... yay for the bonny sbc and 💩 like that.

So by that reasoning why dont you go swap in a 1000hp 1 cyl or go electric/hybrid? You'll be able to soon. U down? What I'm talking about is the old school where you create something not just dial up a parts list. I know efi is better. I don't want better. I want visceral and mechanical.

When it comes to the memi lifter tick, I understand it will happen above 100k. My truck only has 40k on it. Is there any type of additive I can use to prevent it from happening in the first place. I only trust the guys at engine masters. If anyone knows, you guys will. Thank you for the videos and your time.
