The most important factor involved is exactly how the camera attaches to the Skout. So that's the part you leave out. Will it accommodate a rapid release plate? If so, who's etc. etc. etc, Also, I wish to have an idea of how sturdy the connection is and the material used. You leave out so many details, I have to wonder what it is you do not want us to know.

I just received my Skout camera carrier. When I slide the camera into the slot no matter what I do it twists so the screen is sideways instead straight up and down. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi all,
I am looking for instructions on how to get the tripod adapter to attach to the skout. Instead of having to switch to the regular adapter.
    Thanks!

You still need the basic adapter to attach onto the quick release one. Doesnt bother me much because if I ever want to ditch the qr plate I still havr the basic connector.

Hi, can you tell the if the SKOUT would be suitable for a D810 with a 70-300mm lens weighing 1.8kg in total?
    Thanks.

ugh the worst kind of product video!!! music that might not be to everyone's taste (read "I can't stand the music!") and is distracting! No solid info on product or at least not before I was thoroughly disgusted by the video. Shopping for equipment is HARD work. I have spent hours shopping for camera equipment after weeks of getting educated and a sterap is the final item. I want a useful video, please! not a torture piece!
