    Thank you so much for this! Using your settings, then adjusting them to my personal preferences, has given me great colors and dynamic range straight out of camera. My videos require minimal to no color corrections in post. You’re awesome!

    Dude, Great video. I have been looking for a different cine profile for a while(been using a custom cine 4 for a while) and Im definitely going to try yours. Thanks for sharing it! Also, I loved that you explained what each setting means and does. I haven't seen anyone do that before so well done. Just sub'd! Thanks!

    Thanks for the tips on this - probably more info than I need! I gave your profile a shot on the ZV-1, but it looked pretty flat. I think I'd need to color grade a bit more in post to get it to pop. I may just stick with stock PP6 (Cine2) and tweak that a bit. Thanks again - good stuff.

    • @MichaelAmsel
      @MichaelAmsel  Před 2 lety

      Oh sweet, thanks!
      Yeah it’s definitely meant to be a flatter profile that gives a bit of dynamic range, but nothing too complicate or challenging like LOG. But does need a little work in post to make it work.

    Those colors do look good. I've been testing the crap out of all Sony's Gammas for a few weeks now trying to decide on the best one for me and I came across your video. I'm gonna test your settings out as well, oh yeah, I like cine2, plus you can go down to 100 ISO on the A7III. Nice work on that opening skit, I liked it a lot!!

    Hey Michael, I'm really liking the videos. We actually have the same setup. Is this the picture profile that you used to record your opening skit and the talking portion of this video? Also, would you use this same pp for vlogs? The colors, the blacks, and the mild cine-like fade that you have going on is really my vibe.

    Hey! First, awesome video! I know this is one of your old ones, but do you still recommend those settings?
    I have an A7C and I've been testing picture profiles and I found CINE2 to be my favorite, but I'm still playing around with the color depth to get the colors how I like. I'm currently using the color depth values from the "s-cinetone clone" PP that extrashot youtube channel created (you probably heard about). But I feel that those color settings are more in the yellow-ish side, which I don't like. When you used to use these settings (in your video), were you required to do a lot of color correction or just basic contrast adjustments. I would appreciate any tips! Thanks!!

    • @MichaelAmsel
      @MichaelAmsel  Před 3 lety

      Hey there! Thanks for checking the video out!
      So I definitely still recommend these settings if you are looking for a PP that offers good dynamic range, without the need for a ton of post production work.
      However, for me personally I have switched to shoot everything in SLOG2. But, if I had to shoot something not in Log, I would be using these settings. I also think Cody Blue has a crazy good Cine 4 PP that I've used before. So I think it comes down to whatever you're comfortable with.

    • @fer_pena
      @fer_pena Před 3 lety

      @@MichaelAmsel thanks for the fast reply. I will check Cody's PP, but I do prefer CINE2 over CINE4 because it has more dynamic range. Anyway, would you mind to explain real quick what kind of adjustments you made on this video? Usual contrast em color corrections? Any LUT on top of it maybe? Would be cool to know. Thanks a lot! :)
