- After having this scooter in for repair it seems prudent that we do a review of one of Enhance Mobility's new releases. The Mojo has taken some ques from the Transformer with its auto folding mechanism and paired it up with the ability to have a removable rear section to help with making this scooter lighter to lift and transport. I have a question. I own a Golden Technology 4 wheel BuzzAbout wheelchair. It started squeaking about 6 months ago and is so unbearable. It’s like plastic rubbing on plastic all over the whole machine. It wakes my family up in the morning and was wondering is there a spray lubricant to use if I were to break it down like to load in car. This way I can get to all locations but I have to find something but do not want to damage the unit or attract a lot of dust.
I find that using WD40 or the like will only mask the noise for a short while until it wears off. Without seeing the scooter to inspect and determine where the noise is coming from, I would advise not spraying lubricant, if it gets into the braking system, it will kill the brake. I would take the unit apart (as if you were loading into a car) and inspect for any damage or broken that might be rubbing on moving parts. You'd be surprised what people run over and get trapped in the wheels and axles. If you can't see anything obvious then I would take it to your local repair center see if they can pin down the problem.

To rule out the brake, you can start driving and move the freewheel brake lever to the unlock/freewheel position while still moving to see it stops the noise then reengage the brake. Have someone help you to perform this if you can. If the noise does go away in freewheel you have a suspect brake.

What has been your experience with Enhance Mobility products ? (mojo/transformer models)
Are they popular in your area ?
We've been with Enhance Mobility since they were a startup way back in 2015, MedTrade Las Vegas where they first showcased the Transformer. We signed up there and then and bought one for our showroom and have sold quite a few. I must say and my videos do show that the scooters do fail but 90% of the time it's been user inflicted problems that have caused them to break. As a company they are great at customer service as dealer, I can't speak for end user side. They are quick to respond to emails and calls regarding scooter issues and did open a Distibution center in California to service the west coast region (HQ located in Florida) I have only worked on three of their products as for repairs, Transformer, Mojo and Triaxe Sport and seem quite easy to repair if you know your way around different styles of scooters. In summery defiantly 9 out of 10. Ask me about E-Wheels SMH defiantly a 1 out of 10
