Superb video on the comparison of these two rounds. Beautiful rifles. Always wanted a 300 H&&H rifle just to have one; do not have one due to cost and scarcity of ammunition and rifles in that round.
So happy to see a man that no how to operate a bolt. I see so many new shooters that have no idea how to operate a bolt rifle. I must be an old guy lol
Cat like reflexes avoiding getting scoped... the first time I shot my dad's 300 I split my eyebrow wide open... I'm not sure if I've ever overcome the scope flinch and tend to stay back a little too far...
The recoil on the 375 is actually not that significant, with the .400 class calibers if the rifle is light it is a different story - thanks for watching
Old Timers say the 220 grain bullet is what made the reputation of the 300 H and H in Africa. The 200gr. Spitzer is ideal. The PH said if you go down to the 180 gr. Might as will use a 30-06. The extra velocity in the 300 will do you no good.
Yes, there is a .318 WR built on a FN Mauser action, in the works, but it may take a while for me to get the video done and posted. Thanks for looking.
Muy bueno tu vídeo saludos desde Argentina yo tengo dos 300 HyH y un 375 HyH son excelentes los 300 los arme yo y dos 458 W que los vendí con acciones mauser modelo argentino
If I could go back 50 years, I'd own a 257 Roberts in a pre-'64 Winchester Model 70, and a 300 H&H Magnum in a Remington Model 700. What else does a Montana hillbilly need?
Astoundingly beautiful rifles, thanks for posting!
Simply beautiful, and those mounts are a work of art, thankyou for sharing, bloody awesome mate.
Glad you like them!

I use almost exclusively factory loaded 180gr Nosler accubond bullets, which seem to be OK on availability. Thanks for watching !
A simple and beautiful review, keep it up mate 👍

I guess I missed that part. He took the rifle off his shoulder to cycle the bolt. Not good and I too am old.
It’s Great to see such Wonderful Old World Rifles..... a thing of Beauty!
Really lovely rifles! Thanks for the video.
The pleasure is all mine! Next video will be posted this Friday.
Love the 300 H&H , for nearly 60 years now , now she only hunts steel plates , and destroys them. Well done !
The 375 is my favorite for jack rabbits. 1 Shot and I've cut my eye and my shoulder is black and blue.
Two very nice rigs.
Thank you

You are welcome
Beautiful hunting guns..makes me think about my childhood days..
Very very nice . I am squeamish to recoil , but a .375 H&H would be a dream rifle .

Those guns are just simply works of art. What brand of ammo were you using?
I was shooting 180 gr Nosler Accubond in the 300H&H and 300gr Federal softs in the 375 H&H - both commercial loads
Fantastic video! Do you have any .318 westley richards rifles to review?
Yes, there is a .318 WR built on a FN Mauser action, in the works, but it may take a while for me to get the video done and posted. Thanks for looking.
Fantastic, are the scope bases H@H as well, or just custom locally never the less very well done 👍
Yes, they are Holland & Holland side mount, quick detachable.
Love the accent

What we all need, less and better government !!! Thanks for a great comment!
How to buy, im from philippines,
Local gun dealer may be able to import from the manufacturer !
A bit strange hearing a hybrid South African / American accent....but then I now speak with a hybrid South African / British accent!
12 Years and it is still that strong !!!

I saw Rhino is making more and better bullets now again. The 380 .375 is back aswell as the rest of them.
Thanks, that is indeed good news!
