- Nest strives to capture the atmosphere of hidden pools amidst the woods, faint calls of owls echoing through the woods, sparkling waterfalls and vast snow covered landscapes the solemnity, tranquility and brutality of nature.
Nature, fantasy and more precisely fables are the fluid that courses through Nest's veins.
Old folk and animal tales as well as the works of brothers Grimm and Tolkien, to name a few, have been the roots of great inspiration.
But even though Nest serves as a vessel to express these things important to us, an equally important reason for Nest's existence is to bring enjoyment to all who should find it in athmospheres brought forth by acoustic, ambient and even somewhat folky music.
The core of Nest's music is the kantele, a traditional Finnish string instrument that originates from over 2000 years ago. It's 15 strings provide the ancient sound that is characteristic of Finland and sets the listener on a journey of wonder in natural themes.

I left big city and live in woods,, small village. Such music was one of inspirations to change life. Thank you Nest!
I wish I could leave city. Originally I come from small village surrounded by forests and fields, I had to move to half milion city for university and work. I stayed here just because it was more convenient, easy to find job - now I feel tied to the job. Man, I miss connection with nature, fresh air, smell of wet ground in forests, the touch of dust on your face after long day of hiking through dry, sandy paths. A step into shallow, cold river. Empty spaces, blue sky, green cornfields. Grandmother's barn with hay and wood.
@@radio_aktivist You can if you really want. There are lot of ways to make some money any place with internet. Maybe less than in city but enough for living.
To make my country life possible I and my wife also prayed to Saint Spyridon, he helps with house questions very much.
And we used visualisation, reality changing techniques ( John Kehoe is a good teacher for that).
I also used Amanita Muscaria microdose, one of the most powerful reality changers
I've been listening to this for the past five years, and still keep returning. I'm declaring it a masterpiece in my books. Finally managed to find this collection on CD as well.

Thank you for posting this album. I fell in love with the music from Nest a few years ago and I still can't get enough of it. It is great to study and relax and to reach another world. Just beautiful.
This was the one song from last year that I wasn't completely happy with the production. So for the Level 11 album version we made a few tweaks to bring out (to my ears) its full potential. Here is the list of changes:
Rebalancing of bass guitar/ kick drum low end frequencies to create a more dynamic groove.
Guitar EQ adjusted for a warmer, fatter sound.
Some vocal volume levels adjusted slightly.
Adjusted kick drum click to feel more natural and be slightly louder.
Snare drum adjusted & EQ-d to have fewer distracting harmonic overtones and fit into the groove better.
Some overall mix & master EQ & compression adjustments to create a more full, balanced sounding production.

sehr dark - und sehr schön. Nebel, Dunst, feuchte Luft. Lebendig, nicht faul oder gar tot. Bißchen zu gothic manchmal. Aber für bestimmte Momente wirklich schön. Danke für die tolle Zusammenstllung
