Motionless Constant and A Hidden Moment give me strong thoughts of "1979" album by Deru. The one I listened every night, locked from outer world in deep depression back in the time. I did not know about HTDC then. Now when I listen to Aural Stream, I feel a connection with myself from those few years ago, as if I were sending myself words of support that, blurred from behind a cloud of noise, came to myself against the time, distorted. Like a pale glow, reflections across a plane of water.

This SLAPS, i love especially the first song, chill more calm metal instrumentals like that are so cool, they feel like they can be both motivating, but also like a metal lullaby song.

Honestly was expecting something a little bit darker since they made a point about it being a side project, while this doesn't sound that different from their previous stuff. I still love it though! Definitely a little darker but also very much still their signature style.
