    We appreciate the review and honest feedback. We only made 50 for the first production run to figure out what worked well and what needed to change based on performance and initial customer feedback.
    Based on this feedback we will be making the following modifications:
    -resolving the display issue and upgrading the display
    -improving front fender
    -shorter crank arms for more comfortable pedaling.
    -changing grips and throttle
    We will continue to listen and make the necessary changes as needed.

      I love that you're responding to reviews. Would it be possible to move the tail light in a little bit so you can use the back as a handle? It really helps with the bike I have now, getting it in and out of my apartment. Also, a walk feature helps alot with me going up a small staircase I have to get it outside. Im only recommending because it sounds like you want to make the right changes and I can't say that for most companies. This will most likely be the next bike I buy. Good job!

  • @FoundingYouTuber-2005

    @GhostCatBikes, here's my thoughts:
    - As a shorter rider with a 30" inseam I like the bike's size and seat height as currently configured. That's just my vote on seat height and frame size.
    - As a superbike owner (Ducati 998, Yamaha R1) I prefer the motorcycle feel, including a handlebar that mimics my billet bars. And I really like the grips on this bike, especially the full-size throttle that mimics the grips on my motorcycles. And I know I may be in the minority, but I love the composition of your grips, hard rubber and metal. Those thumb or quarter-grip throttles, fuhgeddaboudit.
    - I like a display that's well laid out, color (so I can quickly see by color what's going on, and differentiate the icons and numerals), hi-res (I wear glasses, so I need crisp/sharp graphics). Also like a display that gives me full-access menus, to allow me to do anything and everything I want to do to the controller.
    - As others said, yes, we need a bike to at least be configured for installation of a second battery. Side note: IMO that's where e-bikes are headed in 2024-25. A retailer is going to lose prospective customers if the bike doesn't at least have space for a second battery, preferably available from the bike's seller.
    A second battery is important because we Americans are a spoiled lot. On e-bikes we are max-speed throttle-only riders. I predict people will eventually not buy bikes that provide a paltry 25 miles of throttle-only max speed riding. Indeed, I predict prospective purchasers will always opt to pay more money to get that second battery, direct from the Company who is selling the bike.
    My prediction may be proving accurate considering that there's more and more dual battery bikes debuting, and on the older models (older = 2022/2023 🙂) like the Revv1 for example, the Company is offering for purchase a battery cage, battery, cradle, balancer, and wiring needed.
    Lastly, I have seen some companies advertise that a rider can get good range if s/he sets the bike on PAS 3 and avoids throttle-only riding. Like I said above, that's not practical because the American e-bike rider isn't wired that way; e.g., the first thing they do with a new e-bike is enter the controller menu and set everything to the max, then we get on the road and "floor it."

    Why don't these companies make bigger bikes for bigger American guys? I'm 6 '1" 240 lbs , I've got four of these type of bikes they're not tiny but they're not huge either, I think these type of Manufacturers should make these at least 24 inch wheels in the future, beautiful bike. Personally I like the BMX bars on my bikes, it gets a little bit tough on the neck bent down like that but hey I'm older😂😂, they need to upgrade the display I had one of those on my $500 folding bike, for that money they can get something a little better

      And yet, at 5' 4" (and owner of ten e-bikes from Ariel to Juiced to Talaria), none of these bikes really fit me either...not to the point of ever having both feet touch the ground at the stop light. Will this be "the one"? Big agreement on BMX -style bars: More appropriate than flat bars that force you into a cafe-style racer position as opposed to more upright, but that's just me not wanting to be tossed over the bars if some a-hole pulls out in front of me at near-40mph.

Also, since I discovered my bike has a walk feature, it's alot easier getting it outside. Rather than having to lift a 90lb bike up a staircase. With the walk mode, it's effortless. The only reason I wouldn't buy it is because I am 6'1"/235lbs and there is no place for larger/extra batteries. Going at decent speeds, that battery will drain with me on it in like 12-16 miles. For the positive : you seem to get plus $2000 worth of e-bike for $2000 . Speed and Power is great , looks good . Good value for what you are getting . Negative : what ever is going on with the display , and the battery pack . The US states are starting to crack down hard on battery packs needing UL certification as it is a huge safety issue because of potential fires and possible super cheap low end Cells . For the battery alone i would not purchase . Get that certification which tells me it is safe and not junk cheap cells , fix the display issue and the e-bike will be a home run for the money. 203mm rotors and 4 piston brakes on a $2000 e-bike is a (Huge) plus . To me absolutely necessary for stopping power at that speed . I could not see what size chainring and freewheel . Chainring should go up to 52tooth minimum and freewheel down to 11 tooth or you will ghost pedal to much , although with a really low seat pedaling will be difficult anyways . I am a fan of fenders to keep wet roads from kicking up water or mud all over me and the fenders here seem sorta useless .
    Serious potential for sure . Just not quite there yet .

    I don't get why the Company on this nice a bike would install what looks to be a junk no-frills 2019ish display. (Two displays failed on this bike reviewed by TailHappyTV, yours make three of this display that have failed.)
    In any event, I'm seriously considering getting this bike, especially after seeing all the complaints and problems on the Revv1 and Ariel Rider bikes. Main concern I have on those bikes, LOTS of complaints about the companies not honoring their warranty, ignoring communications, and basically not standing behind their products.
    So now I'm back to square one, looking at "candidates" to be my 8th e-bike purchase since 2019. My main requirement, no complaints about poor customer service.
    Regarding this bike, I MIGHT not be concerned about those three cheap junky displays failing (and what that could portend) in light of the fact that the Company is online here and elsewhere interacting with prospective customers. I can't recall anyone else recently doing that (back in 2018 Rad Power Bikes was on CZcams representing the brand on all the popular e-bike channels).
    In the end I might chalk up those displays as human error that occurs in the press of business; i.e., in the rush to get the demo bikes distributed those displays were the only ones available.

    • @MrCentralDriver
      @MrCentralDriver  Před 3 měsíci +3

      this display had voltage So i know that was a big reason why they went with this one and I could be wrong but depending on the controller you install on these bikes, Your limited on which displays to use. They are aware of the display issue and fixing it for all the new orders made.

    • @GHOSTCATBIKES
      @GHOSTCATBIKES Před 3 měsíci +6

      The display is a reliable display the reason we went with this display is because you can see very easy during the day and has critical information in the main screen voltage and current, which is difficult to find on some displays. The issue with the display and speedometer was not the display it was a sensor communicating with the display. Regardless it’s not acceptable we will resolve this issue and look to upgrade the display. Other modifications will be done ASAP: eliminate, any throttle delay, shorter crank arms, improve front fender and new grips/throttle similar to a Surron.
      We only made 50 bikes in the first batch and focused on critical components battery, controller, motor, suspension and brakes now we need to go back and clean up the little stuff based on feedback.
