- The story of The Three Amigos- Pierre Van Hooijdonk, Jorge Cadete and Paolo Di Canio. The trio arrived at Celtic in the 90s as the club looked to regain the top spot in Scottish football, but all three became involved in controversy.
Fergus McCann saved Celtic, no ofs or buts, a business man but a Celtic man, don't underestimate what he done for us
Andrea's Thom was another proper football player and stayed at the club longer than these 3 too.
I absolutely loved Andreas Thom, he was very underrated!
He could play in most positions...
Awesome from three (cadete, hooijdonk and Di Canio), in their best days they were deadly!
What a great trio
Was nearly a quartet, got into work to take over the hotel bar one morning and a colleague who was also a huge Celtic fan said to me "two VIP's out on the terrace having coffee go have a look" Tommy Burns was out there sitting with David Ginola.
How Celtic bagged these three was incredible business by the club
Would like to get Bodo manager, played better football than we did, he annihilated 'angeball'
Where’s Lisbonne?
You call your channel Paul The Other One
Cadetes transfer wasn't late because of negotiations it was a bitter SFA official that purposely stalled the transfer
I had a season ticket from 95 -03/04,,,Di Canios 1st game was a pre season friendly against Arsenal,,the Celts went down a goal ,went on to win 2-1...Di Canio was on fire ,, he tortured arsenal with every trick in the book.
Since been proven Rangers were spending money they didn't have, and have since been liquidated and don't exist anymore ...which is nice 😉
Van hooijdonk has to be one of the least likable human beings around . He left for championship Forest, then refused to play for them in the premier league as he was apparently too good for them. Didn't he go back to Holland after that
Jaysuz that's a horrible nordy accent.
Posh northern Ireland accent
