The most honestly beautiful song that I have ever heard, I love the narrative of the lyric and i have carried it with me for so many years. It’s the finest track on the album which is superb anyway. What makes it so hauntingly beautiful is the way that the fabulous guitar riff right from the opening conveys the sense of pain and loss. Tracey sings with such emotion you absolutely know it’s true, wish there were more artists who spoke from the heart as she does.
I listen to this and I'm 19 again, bittersweet.
same, but 16
same, but 18
RMN nurse training Shenley hospital 1982. I can even remember some of it. Happy days despite Cecil Parkinson being our MP! What hormones we all were.
