The M48 Tactical War Hammer from United Cutlery is the hammer/axe combination! The cast 2Cr13 stainless steel black oxide-coated head can pummel almost anything with ease. The handle features a defensive war hammerhead and a devestating piercing spike, which offers great applications as an effective breaching tool and defensive hammer. The 30% fiberglass handle is nearly indestructible, and the axe head is attached to it with metal bolts. Includes a TPR hammerhead cover and a nylon sheath with Velcro closure.

I got this hammer. Pretty nicely balanced, it could definitely wreck a person or an animal pretty fast. My only niggle is I wish the handle was a bit longer.

Wooden axe handles tend to break after repeated use. Fiberglass absorbs and distributes the impact, lessening the force on itself and your body.

All M48 products are very cool looking but do NOT hold up to any type of use!! All CRAP!!!!!

Duh, all weapons these days are trash, because they are designed to be as cheap and as cost effective as possible. You need like 3/8's to a half inch thick if you want a solid blade not to die. However then you lose speed. But if your sword breaks its a worthless piece of shit like 90% of the swords out there. You want 5260 or 9260 or l6 bainite and it has to be tempered and forged steel or its trash. I haven't found a 1060-1055 that doesn't break on branches or bend slightly. Katana's are not the best sword because they bend, a longsword would likely be better, made out of 5260 would not break, ever. Try some of Cold steel's swords, they are pretty tough for the amount they charge.
