Love the video! I had one question, how is it with keeping track of finances, transactions and everything?
Good question! Vagaro has amazing back end reporting you can break down your transaction list by daily sales by sales of a specific category. You could break it down by sales of an employee. It does a great job of showing your discounts as well as promotions that you were running, and how many of them have been booked an applied?
we really like the tax and reporting this is going to help you a lot when you’re going through retail sales as well as going through W-2 and W-4 reporting for your employees.
I feel like every system has its own flaws, but the system has really work to keep improving. These reports to make it easier and easier to hand them to our accountant, and to read them ourselves.

I love Vagaro, I just hate that there are so many add ons that cost more.
i do see what you’re saying but it is sometimes a downside, but I do really like to say that the best part about it is it allows you to only use what you’d like to use for your business growth and not pay for what you’re not using as added feature.

What about direct deposit? Is it fast or does it take a little longer to get paid?
Hi! Great Question! Direct Deposit is the BETTER option. It is relatively quick deposits with a 24-48 hour delay. Unless someone is paying cash, I would have your VAGARO system set up for Direct Deposit with all transactions. It also keeps track of all deposits as well, so you don't have to calculate that information yourself.
I have been using this also. But I’m struggling big time. I sell a lot of retail. Many of my products have no barcode. I hate that I can’t print any barcodes. I also struggle using my phone to even can a barcode. So I end up having to type in each h product. I’m currently looking for a new POS system. When I check out on my phone if I sell more than 8 items I can not scroll down and change anything. No discount or anything. If you want a system to book appts it works. But if you sell a lot of products it’s terrible. 😢
I know sometimes it’s frustrating. We do sell a lot of retail but a lot of our retail bottles have barcode as well as I don’t have a problem typing it in to find the exact product that I’m looking for.
we have only used a few other systems, but how else would you search for products if you don’t type them in to search for them by name? Or If they don’t have a barcode?
have you tried using a labeler to make a barcode for the boxes?
Sadly Vagaro doesn’t create any barcodes for products. So I can’t print anything to scan. I meant I am used to just scanning barcode and not having to type in each one. Plus the fact I sell lots of multiples. So if I ring out more than 8 items. The. If one of those items I want to add say 4 more. I can’t. So I end up putting that transaction on hold. Thrn going to iPad charging the quantity of said item. Then going back to ring out on my phone. Which is a pain when I have 3 clients waiting to check out. I sell around 300,000$ in store of products. It’s just not working for me anymore. I’m
Bummed but when I send in help ticket. It take 2 weeks sometimes to get reply. I think it’s nice system if you are an esthy that say sells one or 2 lines. But not like mine with a busy retail location.
