  • Detailed look at Schindler's semi cheaply made but really Epic lifts.
    Do not try to surf lifts if you don't have all the knowledge of how to do it safely! I can not take any responsibility if you got injured!

      Thanks!
      It was just a voluntary inspection by the way

    Very interesting. I didn't realise that smarts are 1:1 side chassis MRLs. So Orona worm drives are literally identical, but without the keypad capacitive buttons.

      I don't like lifts pulled on the side and also tracks on the side but these lifts are so epic with their 2 speed levelling and some of them has a very interesting motor sound

      So, that one time I've ridden an orona worm drive IT WAS SIDE PULLED?! It felt like a good quality generic!

    What kind of key do you use to open the schindler smart control cabinet?

    There's a non capacitive schindler smart at my future college I'm going to, can't wait to ride it and film it if I can.

      Is it one with the epic loud motor sound? (I haven't filmed one yet)

      @@UrbexLifts I'm not sure since I've hadn't got a chance to ride it yet.

      Its visual explanation. I cant say more than what I see. You need to know basic workings of a lift to understand what you see here

    1:05 6th floor

    Mah, I continue to do not understand the reason of the numeric pad inside the car: it has a sense only if there are 10 or more levels.

    • @UrbexLifts
      @UrbexLifts  Před 4 lety +2

      Its because of the cheapness so they dont have to make different panels, they get away with this one everywhere

      In theory, these can serve up to 16 stops if I remember correctly, but Smarts are rarely serving more than 6 floors. I remember seeing a video of one in Finland that served 9 floors.
