  • Jeep will destroy the EV industry with its new compressed-air engine.
The automotive world stands at a crossroads: consumer EV enthusiasm lags behind manufacturers' expectations while governments tighten emissions regulations.
Consequently, many manufacturers are now either fully embracing EV technology or bucking the trend and exploring alternative options, following in the footsteps of Toyota. Joining this movement is Jeep, with a pioneering alternative solution that uses compressed Air and promises to address environmental challenges without relying solely on battery-powered technology.

A compressed air engine still needs a power source I.E petrol and/or electric and the pressure to make the air systems work you will need an almost puncture proof fittings and holding tanks that can withstand external applied force in a accident situation!

How does the engine work? A tree grows in the forest harnessing air which consists primarily of N2, CO2, and O2, as opposed to the high ammonia reducing atmosphere of primordial earth. When you look at a tree you see bark and leaves. These leaves dance on air currents. But how does the engine work?? Jeep is looking at air which inflates the tires you drive on with the air reducing the rolling friction of the tires to reduce rolling resistance and saving fuel versus concrete tires. For the love of Jesus and all things holy how does it work???? The engineers at jeep harness the creative energy of caffeinated beverages to fulfill a dream long held by....
Modern Jeeps break...a lot. Good luck buyers of a car that won't be built.

Nowdays everything comes with a price? Just asking how much is your compressed air engine cost? How many you could sell? How many repairman available to knows how to service this type of car? By the way EV is going cheaper and more wide spread. If you want to defeat EV firstly you need to sell so cheap till the price at a lost. Then you may stand a chance to defeat EVs. This is a game of attraction

Jeeps have always appealed to back-road and off road drivers. I consider EVs to be much more efficient, as they are simpler- a battery and a electric motor,. Both of which are improving. The appeal here is to a small group that have the money and the ego.

Oddly enough even air being compressed to a high enough pressure will combust. Diesel is hard to light with a bic lighter, when it's compressed it will. This video is made up, they don't explain if the air is being combusted or if they are trying to run an engine extremely lean.
