- Running a successful family business requires strict discipline, good financial management and succession planning. These are the basic principles that have worked for Broadways Bakery, a 56 year old Kenyan family business. CNBC Africa's Beatrice Gachenge spoke to Bimal Shah, the director of Broadways Bakery.
My former employer... This guy is a genius n knows everything abt his business
In serious food factories measures are put in place to ensure proper hygiene so no need of gloves....so the hands are properly washed and dried after every 30min....protective clothes and hairnets are worn to ensure that no scratching takes place.....the conveyors look dirty but they are not...they are just worn out
Broadways is one of the oldest bakeries in Kenya. 😊Thats why the machines and equipment look worn out but who cares, we love the bread
We called them "Mkate ya Ngareware " when we were in primary school in Nanyuki.
The conveyor belt seems dirty and the workers got no gloves.
My childhood bread, I love it up to date. 😋
the best bread in Kenya
That's a great job but workers must given gloves to prevent burning and spreading germs please
