    There is always a frisson of excitement when the notification of a new Tim Wilmot demo pops up on my smartphone. I'm never disappointed.

    Thank you Tim. I watch all of your demo's and I often think to myself as you are painting 'oh dear, he's messed up, he's spoilt it, he's never going to get it right now' and as if by magic, it comes to life, perfect, another beautiful painting. I just sit here with an open mouth full of envy.

      I think the same myself Richard, but it seems to come together

    I am amazed at how you take what looks like a mundane scene and make a painting much more exciting than the source reference. Thank you for the demos.

    I’m reading the comments and your responses. I’m amazed at how nice you are because responding to my 700 followers is time consuming. You don’t have to respond to this little blurb. Just know that I love your work!!

    Hello Tim...picked up my phone first thing to see s Tim Wilson upload had come in...I sprang out of bed as fast as my old legs would carry me...So exciting ! Eagerly awaiting your next demo.
    Have watched all 35 and am amazed ...the colours you create and the light ...just think you are a master.
    Up until now Sir William Russell Flint was my favourite..
    Thank you Tim.

      Thanks for the compliments. Russell Flint is one of my favourites too. All I can afford though are his prints!

    It is grouse that you go to the trouble of spending an hour painting and commentating so smoothly.
    Saves me doing it.

    Another grateful "student". Instructive video as usual, in this case even much more because of the limited palette. Thanks for sharing your experience Mr. Wilmot.

    Another nice demostration Tim, thanks! Nice to see that a limited palette with only the primary colors is enough to achieve this result. You will make many painters happy, especially the Dutch ;-)

    • @TimWilmot
      @TimWilmot  Před 6 lety

      Thanks Arie. Dutch painters don't like many colours on the palette ?

    Dear Tim, I live in Livorno 10 miles from Pisa and I thank you for the lessons you give us. If I improve with my painting, I owe it to you. If you go from Pisa to Livorno, there is the sea and I am there. We can eat some fish together. Good weekend. Richard

    Thanks for another excellent demo of your fluid watercolour techniques. I ourchased a couple of Raphael mop brushes on your recommendation, from Curtis Ward UK, and tried them out yesterday for the first time. Very satisfying, but needs practice.
