  • Click Aristocrat has since its introduction been the frontrunner in its segment in India: the frontrunner, by far. It has almost everything going for it in terms of quality, aesthetics, reliability, and pricing, which makes the Click Aristocrat the best entry-level fountain pen in India for connoisseurs, collectors, and daily users alike. As a matter of fact, if the sheer numbers in which the Click Aristocrat sells is any indicator, then it can easily claim for itself a cult pen status. And mind you, the Click Aristocrat’s fan following is not restricted to India alone, fountain pen aficionados from around the world have sought it out and made it their own.
That the Click Aristocrat, coming in endless eye-candy colours, has been a perennial favourite with successive generations of fountain pen users is now more or less acknowledged, even by the sceptics. But the one wish that they used to qualify their comments with was for an ebonite version of the pen, which most agree cannot be otherwise improved upon given the price point at which it is available. “If Indian pens are overwhelmingly seen as ebonite ones, and since Click Aristocrat is the undisputed flagbearer, it should be in ebonite also.”
It will not be out of place to mention here that Click takes customer feedback with extreme seriousness and having sounded out a wide cross-section of fountain pen aficionados, it has now come out with another winner - the Click Aristocrat Half Ebonite. It is the same Aristocrat pen with the same nib, feed, clip, and filling systems, with the barrel of the pen being fashioned out from pure Indian ebonite rods. The point that needs to be noted here is that the barrel has been machined, which is providing the pen with a sheen and lustre, not to mention the perfection that only precision machining can achieve (as opposed to pieces that are hand-turned from scratch) and is a sheer stunner to look at. The ebonite swirl barrel set off with a black plastic cap is, simply yum and Click seems to have killed three birds with this one half-ebonite Aristocrat - it is created out of ebonite, is hand-crafted (backed by machined perfection), and is not as expensive as the ebonite pens generally available in the market, though it is priced higher than the standard Aristocrat pens.
If initial feedback from the market is to be believed, the Click Aristocrat Half Ebonite is going to be the biggest sensation in the market in 2023. I for one, will not be surprised if this shatters all box-office records to become the highest-grosser of all time.

I have been using the pen for a month now. Bought directly from Click! Have one with a fine nib. The pen itself is a good writer too. It's fairly priced compared to the overall quality of the pen. I have had this one in my pocket today during my school time. ❤️🙏

I've enjoyed using my Click Aristocrat in Maroon for over a year now and I'm quite excited to see this ebonite bodied version. Click pens and nibs I must say are really well made, I enjoyed the fine flex nib unit that came with my pen and the ease of swapping the nibs out to clean or change around with a No 35 architect I had lying around was great. My only gripe with the Plastic aristocrat was the foul smell of the plastic itself which seems to linger on despite a years worth of use and this ebonite bodied aristocrat seems like a worthy replacement indeed. Thank you for showing this to us!

Sir... I know you're a huge supporter of Sulekha inks, and they do, of course make great inks (one of the best swadesi inks, my subjective opinion though... Feel free to disagree)... But it would be very nice if you'd showcase some other lesser known but equally excellent made in india inks... Like Skylark inks, Syahi, Epitome, Krishna(OK... The last one is relatively well known, but I'd like to see Chawm da's view on it... The guy running it is an absolute gem).
Also, featuring some lesser known pens from the southern parts of India like Deccan, Woodex, PLP would also be nice.
