I am the 7th of 8 kids. There are few things better than getting your whole family together. Its been 11 years since mine has been all in 1 room. This video makes me heart happy.
What a great throwback I ran across today! Miah almost wanted to cry towards the end when he said "It's nice to be around family". As 1 of 9, getting to be around everyone and Mom was a very special treat. ❤️

Our chicken coop has an outside access nest box. It took several years, earlier this season a raccoon figured out how to get in through the nest box hatch at night after the birds were "safely" locked up for the night. We lost half of our flock before I could figure out what was happening. Birds are currently secured in the main barn with Sally the Donkey deterring predators so far.
Great you included prayer in your celebration, and yes jess looks great today. At 72, I never, ever had a birthday party, not even as a child, perhaps I'll have one in heaven.

I loved how Jeremiah's mom was patting someone's fanny LOL. My kids are 27, 24, 22 and 16. They all still get their fannies a patted frequently !!! Its just a mom thing 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Lovely goats! I take fruit to our chickens that travel around in an eggmobile and couldn't believe how many squash grew in the pasture this year.
What an awesome day for your MIL! The coop is looking good :) and love the group photo shoots, so much fun...my dad is from a family of 8, so much fun memories from when we all got together, you're creating wonderful memories!

I had a dairy goat herd for several years. I finally decided to only breed my does every 3 years instead of every year. Their milk went down by half but it was better than trying to decide what to do with a lot of extra goats.
