In the kink-community, the term "vanilla" just means plain or regular and basically what mainstream society expects. Some people use the term vanilla as an insult (like "they are so vanilla"), but it isn't an insult. It just means something non-kinky. Fisting is a kink activity where instead of putting fingers into the but or lower female hole (spelling and description danced around so YT doesn't hide this comment), one works their way up to an entire fist. It is a fairly safe activity if both people know what they are doing, but as with most kink-related-things, your average person trying this without such knowledge would be super dangerous. The reason this activity is desired is because of the "filled" feeling and also because of the pleasurable areas it stimulates. I wish there was a more clear way I could teach and discuss human anatomy without the comment getting hidden, but hope this made sense :)

Being exposed to the underground BDSM community in my early 20s definitely desensitized me to what kink is.
