If Ange publicly rules himself out of the Tottenham job (or any specific job) he would be making a rod for his own back. He would then be expected to publicly rule himself out every time the media decided to link him with another team in future; and failing to do so (after having done it once before) would fuel even more speculation.

Is it a big job answering a question with two or three words? He’s made the rod himself by saying nothing. This could all have been ended even temporarily, by saying something . He himself is fuelling the speculation.

There have been numerous stories linking Ange with just about every manager job going in the EPL this season. Brighton, Weast Ham just to name a couple and his answer to the media has been Consistently the same. He has never allowed such questions to interfere with the job at hand. So, nothing has changed with his approach in dealing with speculations! We have the privilege to look forward to another final tomorrow let's just focus on that, the future will take care of itself. If Ange does decide that this opportunity to go and manage in the English premiership at a club of Tottenham's stature ect is simply too enticing and attractive to turn down at this point in his career, and he does choose to depart us and take the spurs job then I wish him the very very best. Ofcourse , in an idealistic world as a Celtic supporter, ange stays and continues the great job he has been doing and further improves us as a club. But we unfortunately live in the real world where, no matter how great our club may be and despite having arguably the best supporters in club football, we play our football in a very very poor standard of league in which holds very little appeal or provides very little challenge. This is the big problem and always will be.

Sooo .. pragmatic thinking ..... why is Ange going to consider Spurs...
    1. The club is a basket case
    2. It has a history of not living up to expectations
    3. It has some great players but the "team" is hopeless
    4. They have money to buy players
    5. They have a home stadium that he will fill
    5. He will be offered control of everything he needs
    6. They will be a personal challenge for him
    7. The Spurs fans will initially hate him, especially when he loses 3 of the first 6, then they will will realise what good looks like.
    8. They are not in Europe, but that gives him time to work on the squad without the added pressure outside the domestic season (for next season)
    9. He could realistically aim for a Champions League title in a year or 2.
Now the real scary thing for Celtic is he could take CCV, AJ, Kyogo, Maeda and Hatate with him... and write a very fat transfer cheque from the Spurs petty cash account... 🙄... Imagine that lot next to Kane and Son?
    Or he'll just stay... 😁

You seem to have short memory because as I understand it he inherited Celtic at its MOST DISFUNCTIONAL period to win 5 out of 6 trophies and engage in Europe without changing the process and to take away from the first campaign to bolster the process into the League and carry onto the next European campaign. If he is staying, he will announce it to the fans after the game today. However, if he does go to Spurs, celtic fans must look to their board. If or when he lifts the treble today it will be as far as he can take Celtic because Europe is just money for anything but investing in the squad to compete in that competition. He will have money at spurs to build with proper quality players, he will have financial security for his family, the stadium and facilities are top notch, whereas Parkhead is a dump. He might take a player or two with him as well, don’t rule that out. It’s a positive move for him personally, I don’t think he can knock that back. One bad season at Celtic and his stock goes right down and a job offer like this won’t happen again. No brainer for me.

If he gets the offer he's gone. This is Spurs however and nobody runs worse manager searches than them. Entirely possiblel Levy doesn't like the part in Ange's hair and decides not to offer him the job. 😂

Looking on from Australia (old culture's gone so gave AFL the flick) I can't see what Spurs has to offer over Celtic. World famous, Celtic culture 2nd to none. Given the budget differential, taking Celtic deep into Europe on a sustained basis is challenge/achievement enough.
But say Ange does leave, his clone, Muscat, can take over an Ange team. He's done it twice....

Don’t you know who Muscat played for? More likely Celtic should bet on Arthur Papas

@@lemilemi5385 I know. So what? Ex Rangers player pumping sevco adds spice. Anyway, some were expressing concern over who could take over an Ange team without major disruption, all I'm saying KM can do that. But if Papas is a good fit go with him. What's best for Celtic..

Seemingly Ange said all the things he’s saying now before he left Japan to come here. Does anybody believe that he hasn’t been thinking about all this during the last week. He’s made an arse of this tbh. Maybe Ange ‘s stubborn side coming out. AJ said they were watching all this together on Sky Sports. If their thoughts haven’t strayed as to where their own future lies they aren’t human.
