    Thank you for the (only decent) review of this drone!

    Nice review!
    I bought from your link, but I received with only front camera :(
    Question: How do you oprate the gimbal from the control? (maybe that is also not in my version)

      Unfortunately, the cheaper the Chinese products, the less predictable the built in components. Since that second camera delivers a horrible image quality, I never used it in practice, but tilted the front camera downwards instead. That can be done via the remote control (Two buttons right to the leftt joystick).

      Thanks. I am told the second camera is used for optic flow positioning, which I definitely don't have.
      The buttons you refer to are used for take-off and landing in my version.
      Geekbuying saying that gimbal feature is only on the "electric version" - which they don't have.
      Am now buying elsewhere and hope for better luck.

      Mine hasn't optic flow positioning either, or it is horribly implemented. Another prove that cheap and service exclude each other.
      Sorry for you bad experience, but thanks for sharing.

    Some of these inexpensive camera quadcopters will both transmit the video and also save it on a microsd card. Does this one do that, or is the transmitted video all you get? I am more tolerant of poor transmitted image quality if the original footage is available on the microSD after the craft lands. Thanks for the review!

      This one has no micro SD card slot. I would have mentioned that, since I am always looking for the best image quality you can get out of a hardware, so this is all the H106 can deliver.
      I use it for in indoor flight training almost once a day. This is the kind of fun you can have with this drone.

      @@hoitg4647 Ah, that's a shame. Thanks for the reply though!

    Hi, wanted to ask, what is the usual range for a drone like this? What distance from the remote do you lose video feed, and what distance do you lose control?

    • @hoitg4647
      @hoitg4647  Před 5 měsíci

      For this drone there is: As long as you can clearly see it large enough to estimate the orientation, there is no trouble in receiving video feed or control. Keep in mind that flying out of direct visual control (e.g. behind walls or buildings) is not allowed.
