- Welcome to our 2nd video in the series "HAUNTED TALES OF NORFOLK" - the story of the monk who haunts Elm Hill - Father Ignatius of Norwich.
Father Ignatius was an Anglican Benedictine monk, preacher and mystic. In 1863, he established a monastery on Elm Hill in Norwich. That is when events began to get very dark and creepy...
These Norfolk Ghost Stories are just in time for HALLOWEEN!! Turn the lights down low and watch them - if you dare!!
Many thanks to Lucy's Dad, John Atkins for collaborating with us on this video.

Now here is a ghost who I wouldn't mind running into. He sounds very interesting. Pity he can't seem to find his eternal rest. Great narrative John and celebrating Lucy's amazing editing skills. Lovely father-daughter collaboration. 🙏 🇳🇿 🙋 🇳🇱
Haha...he does sound quite a character, doesn't he!! I'm not sure I'd want to meet him on a dark night though!! Thanks for the compliments on the family collab! Have a lovely Sunday! 😊💖🙋♀️

To answer your description question, I personally have never SEEN an apparition but I have experienced things in different ways. Examples? When my mom and I were looking at houses with a realtor 9 or so years ago, we went to this house that had something or someone manipulate me physically, mentally and emotionally to leave the house making me nauseous, giving me tunnel vision, and giving me intrusive mental images of being injured in certain places in the house. Turns out a month later or so later, the house had sold and caught fire due to some electrical faults that were missed during the inspection.
I’ve got something that often whispers or even yells my name into my ear.
And finally, I have a friends who recently passed away suddenly. The one thing he NEVERE went anywhere without was his vape pen and he always had a strawberry scented majigger in it. Like every 1-in-5 times that I think about him, the smell of artificial strawberry randomly comes from nowhere and just hangs in the air for a minute or two before it clears away, unexplainably like it never really happened at all.
Thank you so much for your enthusiastic and lovely response to our video, Michelle! It gave me chills reading about your experience in the house that subsequently caught on fire. What a lucky escape you and your mom had there. Sounds like someone was looking out for you. Oh my, that's scary having something that whispers in your ear and yells out your name! I wonder why it's doing that? And your friend who recently passed away suddenly...it must feel comforting to know that he is there with you still, in some way. That's really amazing. Thank you for telling us about these incidences. It's really fascinating.
Nice sharing!!!
Thank you! 🙏😊

The nightmare on Elm (hill) Street
Nice one, Dara! 👍😆
Ooh I would love to see father ignatius walking the hill. It would be creepy enough to see a hooded monk walking around with a bible anyway… let alone a ghostly figure!
Rather you than me, Nathan!! I would be frightened he would curse me!! You are a brave soul!

OMG 666 views! Thank you for making it 667 Kasie!! 😅😂
Blimey he must have been what me and my friend seen back in the mid 90's while walking back late one night after being out on the lash ,some religious freak running cursing and preach banging on doors holding his bible , have to say we did give him plenty of verbal abuse which strangly enough he didn't engage back he just carried on running towards wensum street as if in a world of his own we laughed and thought what a nutter 🤔
OMG!!! 😲😲Wow!! What an amazing encounter. Glad to hear you made it home safely! Thanks for sharing your story with us 👍❤️
@@The_Brit_Girls Was probably just a prankster from the Arts collage round the corner who had heard the story rather than a ghost but who knows
