    The giant enemy turret at the end of each level has a white shield around it that prevents explosive weapons. That's why the rocket mech wasn't shooting at it. The shield will go down if it takes enough damage. FYI if a mech has a melee weapon you can have it drill through walls. To do this have them selected while the battle is paused and you can hold down the move command to draw a path it will follow. Any walls in the way will be drilled away. This is a very useful ability and this map is perfect for it.

      I've tried drilling walls before and the game never let me. Not sure if the commander mech is supposed to have the drill for this to work or if you specifically need to select a mech with the drill. Last time I tried it, it actually worked, though.

      @@MetalCanyon It doesn't matter if they're the commander or not. I find it works best if I only have one mech selected for drilling walls. If I want two or more mechs to work together I'll give them separate commands.

    You can set a minimum range per target type for the missile in engineering, bottom right with the stats. there's buttons.
    The armor is Bulk and face plate, you can have 4 layers of the higher tech(thinner) bulk and a face plate, the numbers that show up like 33335 indicate the armor type and layering, 4 layers of type 3 bulk and 1 type 5 face plate.
    Also your ICE reactors are sub optimal, you can get 62 power out of them, makes sure you have 4 external heat sinks and 2 multipliers in the bottom slots, the lower power configuration is for higher environmental temps iirc, the internal heatsinks are for energy weapons and you can't combine them as they cancel each other out.
    And don't forget arty, you could have blown the wall away.

    The game is more complex than I thought. It is for people that like fiddling with stats and micromanaging things 👍

    You can get a melee mech up close into the turret faced and it can’t shoot back
