"ieuD" (Dieu=God) is "Verlan". It's a variety of French slang in which the syllables are inverted. But Igorrr has its own invented language so it's more complicated than that 😅

Yeah Igorrr got you good. As pointed out previously, he's French for one. Two, the singers are singing in a language they invented for the sole reason that it's just another "instrument" and the words themselves mean nothing to anyone listening.

I can windmill, I can't headbang, as headbanging gives me massive headaches, while windmilling I find doesn't, likely something about how the headbanging, causes such abrupt changes in head movement, whereas windmilling is much more constant, so I would imagine it would be better for your head and neck as opposed to headbanging.

Ahah, man, you just focus to hard on northern culture, In All Europe, their are strong roots, like celtic tribes, to name just one. I don't see any scandinavian culture in Igorrr, neither in Öxxö Xööx (the singer)
Ok so just on the music I really dug the blending with almost techno rhythms. It gave me Linkin Park vibe while also being very different. Weird as hell on video but hey.... I had you watch a screaming pizza...... who am I to judge.

Ok, watched. This video does make sense to me now. Basically, we're still barbarians, no matter how much we've changed over the centuries. Or maybe worse, because we lost our freedom through all these constraints of culture, of civilization. We now do all sorts of weird things to feel glimpses that freedom again. This is what Gautier imagined while playing that old flute. Then he looked at the chicken, thinking that we are dumber. The bird didn't need to go through so much existential crisis to get to the same point!

The thing with Gautier Serre (the Igorrr creator) is that he wanted to creat a band where he can ad everythings he likes, as he said "from Chopin to Cannibal Corpse" and put all those content to make weird stuff that are disturbing... You have to check the songs called "Viande", "Humous", "Cheval" and "Parpaing" with George Corpsegrinder Fisher from Cannibal Corpse.. Enjoy dude (The musicians in live are crazy and skilled as hell)
