Igorrr has fast become my favorite band. They released an album right at the start of the pandemic, Spirituality and Distortion. That record and then the previous ones got me through this crazy time on the planet!!

Exactly. "Igorrr - Tout Petit Moineau @ Dour Festival 2014", probably their best live performance.
You should also check their side project Corpo-Mente. "Ort" is probably their most popular song to react to, but when it comes to pure vocal performance my preference goes to "Dorma".

The language they use is made up by the band, it is called öxxö xööx and is designed to convey emotion.

Igorrr has no lyrics- (they sing in a self-made language), but as you said, it can make your feel whatever it wants you to feel...
(as 99% of the comments here) i'm a big Igorrr fan and i love watching people reacting to their music/videos... everything is perfect for reaction videos, lol
Definitely worth exploring Igorrr more. Most of his tunes are will slide into the eardrums without too much resistance. Vocal's are well done and so raw.

Hearing 'Sleepytime Gorilla Museum' 'in the wild caught me off guard. (You're not wrong. Multi-vector tension release. Dissonance as design )
as a singer myself...theyre my fav band since about 2 yrs..since I discovered them..there were other discoveries in the meantime but they still hold the crown! Also love 2 sing to their stuff..SO energetic!

If you impressed with this song, you should definitely check out the new album Spirituality and Distortion. An absolute shock, incredible masterpiece. Check the making of the album, video also. These musicians used, are top musicians of the craft! Also, I suggest Haken. Best prog band of the modern Era. Beats DT with the creativity.

IeuD is "Dieu" inversed. "dieu" is the french for "god".
And they sing in Öxxö Xööx, a language invented by them.
French dude here, when reversed, 'ieuD" phonetically sounds like "deuil" which is French for "grief" ;)

You should check out Miasma And The Carousel of Headless Horses. It's essentially some of the same folks behind Sleepytime. Another good band that's not on that super progressive side is Maudlin of the Well

For the love of god do more Igorrr reactions. The female singer has her own band called. Corpo mente. Very very amazing vocals/metal style like this but better. Check it out
Rïcïnn is Laure Le Prunenec's music. Corpo-Mente is another Gautier Serre (Igorrr) project. She is also in Öxxö Xööx Laurent Lunoir's band.

If I'm not mistaken, the male singer goes by Corpse Grinder. I love Laure Le Prunenec's voice and work. Great songs on Corpo Mente, which is basically Igorrr minus Corpse Grinder. She also has many other projects such as Riciin. I'd check any Corpo-Mente live in studio video.
Nope, Corpse Grinder (singer of Cannibal Corpse) did guest vocals on "Parpaing" only, the male singer in this video is Laurent Lunoir

Unfortunately, both vocalists, Laurent Lunoir and Laure Le Prunenec are no longer part of IGORRR.
I've been checking out the live footage with the new line up and they are really good. I was pleasantly surprised!
@@ramdasbir5995 They have a different style (especially the male vocalist), but they are both very good.
The only thing I might miss over time will be the semi melodic screams and growls.
