Nice vid. One thing that concerned me is that she had a mole on her hand which should never be put under the lamp. UV protecting fingerless gloves should be used as a safety measure.

You really should clean ur work area from dust and possibly change your gloves if they are covered in dust to before moving on to the gel application.

There's a lot going on here that people really shouldn't be doing. She's destroying the natural nail. This isn't a light buff she's tearing away the protective layer. Also no reason to be cutting that poor person's cuticles. Cutting when not needed with just make them thicker/rougher/faster growing. You need to clean your work area and change out the table pad and your gloves before applying the actual polish. So much keratin dust everywhere from scraping the hell out of their nail bed.

Lovely work. One essential thing missing: a dust collector. One bad thing: your tools came out of nowhere, not sterilized. That is a very bad sign. You obviously use gloves, but they are for your protection; your client has none. Here, you succeeded in cutting your client bloody, and those unsterilized nippers scare me, really. The lateral folds are not clean of dust and you are packing gel on the nails anyway. You apply the gel in your dusty gloves, and I can see the dust speckles on the gel brush. Not cool.
This is a tutorial, so why don't you mention how important it is NOT to get the product on the client's skin? Maybe because you flooded her cuticles...

Hi Anna, thanks for your comment. We have addressed why we don't use dust extractors whilst filming a CZcams video previously, its because the noise is very bad for the sound quality. In previous videos you will find we recommend the use of dust extractors frequently. In regards to gloves, i'm not sure what you mean as the client cant have her nails done if they are covered by gloves, if you are referring to UV protection gloves, we do not believe in this. It has been debunked that you are exposed to dangerous levels of UV when curing in a nail lamp, i will refer you to this interesting paper on the subject nschoonscientific.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/UV-Nail-Lamp-Facts-1.pdf . Our tools are always disinfected properly between each use. We frequently discuss throughout our videos that nail products are not designed to touch the skin and the importance of this, i also admit often that i am not the best gel artist in the world (i don't practice nails any more, only offer educational content) so although I'm sure my finish will not be as good as yours i would disagree that the cuticles are flooded.

Hey! I appreciate your feedback and will bring it up with the team.
Our trial kits have two base gels in it, Flexi and Angel. It is priced competitively to allow you to get a feel for our products in the hope that you like the consistency and pigmentation and can see it being your go to nail products.
