Can you only apply hard gel to strong, long nails?
Also, hehe can you do a hard gel overlay on soft gel full cover tips? Also if the base and builder gels are soft as well? Or is that a no no?
Hard gel can be applied to nails of any length and strength. You wouldn’t need to put hard gel over full cover tips, I wouldn’t recommend that ❤️

I see you didn’t use a dehydrator then a primer. 😮 first video I’ve seen that didn’t I say that because I’m wondering if after I have filed of the dehydrator is a waste per my gel peels even after correct prep. 😢
We never use dehydrator, it is terrible for prep. If the nail plate is dehydrated first, it will soak up moisture later and nails just pop off!
Where do you get your drill bits from? I’ve bought two different sets now and they seem so blunt it takes forever just to get the first layer of top coat off.

hi there just a quick question when applying xgel can you use the xgel on top of an extension to strengthen it
Hey! You sure can but if I’m honest, there is no real need. The gel tips are definitely strong enough and you would just be using extra product you don’t need x
So the little x design on the tips disappears as you add gel - is this the same if you apply them with nail glue?
We have never tried but it's likely going to be similar. You won't see it when you paint over anyway x
Is it possible to have in the description the list of the products, including the nail filers? My ear is bad for accents, so i am here listening for the fith time and I don’t understand what is you are saying about the first pink layer… after the primer. Great video otherwise… oh yeah also, what is the name of the rotation tool?
Hey! Of course. The first layer is our base layer, good application is needed her to start a good foundation. Then a slip layer that helps guide the next layer - then your builder (thicker) layer. We use the Lucy Pastorelli eFile for the prep, you can use code NAILORDER for some money off on her site. We use a variety of eFile bits in the prep, it really depends on how you have been trained. Then use a 240 grit file and 180 buffer to refine at the end. I hope this helps.

It really depends on what treatment you are doing. Two even thin layers would work well too.

I would rather do a couple infills I werent sure if we could use angel or not as I normally use ultima but if they wanted a nice coloured base for an infill would it still be OK to use angel for the fill.

Hey Bekka, can I ask if I need additional qualifications for the duragel? I was told that as I trained in acrylic and builder that I would be okay. But wanted to check as I was trained on application and understand the requirements of the apexes etc x
Hey! No additional qualifications are needed but we do have an online course to teach the knowledge behind it. However, most of the content here on CZcams will be good for you too x

Do the tips need to be etched?
Yeah so either using Xetch, an etcher eFile bit or make your life super easy and use xPrep our 2 in 1 primer as shown in the video x

Do use a base gel before u polish?
Yeah, if we are just doing Gel Polish we would use a base. If doing Xtensions or builder then no, we would just paint in the canvas we have in front of us 🤤🤤
I meant gel base under builder before gel polish
Do you have to take the Tacker off before you go in with gel polish?
We tend not too if there is no refining needed. If you do need to refine then yes we would and buff over to give the gel polish something to stick too.

Why not dehydrator?
Dehydrated nails suck up water when in the shower or washing dishes etc and can lead to retention issues. You really do not need to dehydrate the nails xx
So when using xprep method you don’t have to pre etch the tips

Always asses the nail health before applying any products but for the most part yes, this can help to strengthen weak nails x
