I enjoyed this video, some great pictures. It's nice to see someone else photographing in Nottingham. It is important to note that this lens does not cover the full frame sensor size of the camera used (A73) it only covers the sensor of the smaller sony cameras like the a6400. The camera puts itself into 'crop mode' cropping out the edges of the image to avoid the strong vignette that this lens produces on full frame sensors when using the full sensor. Because of this the resolution of the file produced by the camera is reduced by 2.56x eg the 33Mpx camera will produce only 13Mpx images since the outer part of the frame is cropped out. This lens will therefore give you the perspective of a 50mm lens even when used on a full frame camera. It is possible to force the camera to capture the whole image without cropping, and a larger image can be achieved by removing the black plastic light baffle on the back of the lens. The full frame 'version' of this lens is the 50mm f/2.8 macro lens. Obviously there is no reason not to use this on a full frame camera, however you might be surprised by the results.

I love this lens. I use it a LOT when taking photos of food. But when it comes to animals and insects.. my go to is the 90mm f2.8 macro 👍👏 i would highly recommend this lens to food bloggers/vloggers. 👍

It will be a 45mm on my A7C, but I don't have any other macro lens with a reception shoot coming up soon. Thank u a million for testing this lens in a realistic way. I will be purchasing
