    I can't use my tweezers because they're magnetic... That's irritating

    • @gcolombelli
      @gcolombelli Před 3 lety +7

      Use plastic tweezers, you can either buy them (they're pretty cheap) or have them 3D printed if you know someone with a 3D printer. Another tip to avoid making a mess is to use a toothpick or a brush to apply the glue, instead of applying it directly from the bottle. Some cyanoacrylate based glues come with a brush, they're very helpful if you're not confortable handling this kind of glue.
      Using a brush you can do it using a very small ammount of glue, which may be good if you're not sure you will get it right the first time, or if it will be too clicky/strong or too weak. Using just a little glue you can pry it if you didn't like the magnetic feel and glue some other place to adjust it. Near the core it feels weaker and less intrusive, and farther away it feels stronger and more clicky. After you're sure it's the way you like, it's a good idea to put a little more glue, as it may become loose if you drop the cube on the floor or slam it on the table during timed practice.

    So a useful thing to do is, put all the white pieces together(pieces with white on) and also keep the corners and edges a little bit of from each other so they don't mix.
