I'm a sinhalese buddhist from sri lanka. All our buddhist temples have a shrine for Lord vishnu. We believe he is the protector of our nation. ( As Lord buddha said before he passed away) Largest vishnu temple of sinhalese is at devundara ( deva nagara ) i have never seen shiva being worshiped by any sinhalese. ( Tamils do ) Amaizing! Vibhishana is worshiped as a god in only one shrine at kelaniya buddhist temple near colombo.
