I have to say, im super proud of you for the way you allowed la a to be himself. You are an amazing mother!
It’s literally the food chain though. Humans are omnivores. We’re supposed to eat meats & veggies. No shade toward being a vegetarian if that’s what works for you. However, there are nutrients in meats that we as humans need. I don’t exactly see how eating meat would be “destroying the planet” when that’s literally how it’s supposed to be.
“Eating meat” isn’t what destroys the planet; the way that we produce meat in order to eat it is what ruins it.
The pilgrims ate meat as did caveman. Long before we were on this earth. So clearly animals were put on this earth to provide for us

This is how my family is, my mom is vegetarian/ vegan and I’m a meat eater. My mom makes me meat at home even though she’s not a meat eater ❤
Im not saying being vegatarian is wrong. Not at all. I feel everyone is free to choose for themselves.
However i believe that animals were placed on this earth to sustain us. Thats those of us that eat meat. Again to each their own

I was a vegetarian for many years, But my blood tests where really bad. So i had to think over it. So the first meat i ate was at mcdonalds. And my body reacted with bloody nose 😂 The vegetarian food is good, but its gets boring to eat the same thing over and over again. And when i where at friends house, they all eat meat, so i skipped eating. Not so good. If im being honest. Just being vegetarian or vegetarian and eating fish ( i dont count that as vegetarian, sorry). for healthy reason is a big NO NO. Not everyone bying their meat in stores just cause how the meat industri is. In my country i dont its bad, they do it right. But if you someday consider to have meat home and starting to eat meat, get the meat from a privat person, that you should find near where you live. You should let your son eat meat if he wants, he can express himself now about it. Even if makes you cook 2 different meals.

Yes I think if her son wants meat you should accommodate that somewhat. Maybe not every meal but for some each week. My daughter wanted to be pescatarian so I buy the food and help accommodate for her… so me meat is very healthy to eat and it could be his body needing that protein. A lot of Carbs are not healthy and you guys consume that?… I think it’s just an opinion you have about eating meat, and that’s fine to believe what you believe but it doesn’t mean it’s correct or even true. Our bodies were made to consume meat.

I used to be vegan before meeting my husband but he is solidly a meat eater so we eat a mix of foods. Our middle daughter (almost 4) is now starting to express sadness over meat when we have it. I want to support her, and I know it's the opposite situation with your family but it's nice to see you support your child in their choices.
I love eating vegetarian and I was a vegetarian for many years. I’m still not a person that craves meat. I also ate many meat substitutes and I quit doing it because I found out they were even more processed than many animals and way full of carbs. I’d recommend looking into that and doing some research. It might surprise you for real! Also, I love that LA A wants to explore all the meat options, someone should let him know most meat eaters haven’t (knowingly) eaten cats. 😂
And then I want to eat cats 😅😂😂 made me LOL and when you said OK OK hahhah. Don’t think you were expecting that lol😅😅
So my daughter has been a pescatarian for almost 5 years now. But she did try to eat a tiny bit of ham not too long ago but it messed up her stomach. So I’ve always been told you have to wean ourself back into meat for while.
Good job letting LA A try meat I hope you reconsider and let him have meat at home sometimes and still enjoy the food you eat at other times then he has the best of both worlds .

Ok, i absolutely love this you are an amazing woman and I love you did this video.
I have a son that does not eat meat, fish, or vegetables. He will eat processed chicken nuggets from mcdonalds or a chicken sandwich from wendys but then it is cheese sticks, cheese pizza, grilled cheese, or PB&J. He is 19 now and will try real burgers his brother makes on the grill and that is it.
Question how was it breakfast was an egg sandwich though?
I took away iPads at home. Now they only get to watch it if they have to come to the office with me which isn't often! BEST DECISION EVER!

I don’t eat meat either but I do have to say that plant based diets are actually worse for the environment than meat diets. You are not saving the planet/animals that way.

Eating processed “fake meat” created in a lab isn’t any better for your health or body. I also used to be a vegan because I thought it was better but then I actually got educated on foods. There’s crucial vitamins and minerals in meats. No shade here but look at the other side. I know our research can be a bit biased. I’ve been on both sides. 🙏🏽
