- Ingredients:
1 Small Cup of Cornmeal
1 Tin of Condense Milk
1 Nut Meg
1 Tablespoon of Vanilla
1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
1 Cinnamon Stick
1/2 Teaspoon of Cinnamon Powder
1 Cup of Coconut Milk
Recipe:
Step1: Add pot to stove with water and add cinnamon stick or leave and let it come to a boil. Try not to add too much water to the pot because you do not want when you add the cornmeal mixture it is too watery. You can always add more water if it is too thick when you add the mixture.
Step2: Add cornmeal to a bowl and add water and mix until smooth. Ensure that the mixture is not too thick and not too thin and there is no lumps in it.
Step3: Once the water start to boil gentle add the cornmeal mixture to the water and turn the flame down to low and stir continuously. It is important to turn the flame down or else the cornmeal will start to pop up and it can burn you.
Step4: Let the cornmeal cook for about 5-10mins then add your coconut milk and stir gentle.
Step5: After another 5-10 minutes add your grated nutmeg or nutmeg powder to the pot and stir gentle.
Step6: After another 10 minutes add a tablespoon of vanilla to the pot and stir gentle. Then add 1/2 of teaspoon of salt and stir gentle.
Step7: After another 5 minutes you can now sweeten the porridge using condense milk or sugar. Add sweetener to the porridge and taste as you sweeten to ensure to get it to your liking.
Step8: Plate and enjoy đ. - Jak na to + styl
