This was pretty good. I never thought to use cornflour for porridge. I usually always use this flour to make arepa
IRIE Cornmeal Porridge, never thought to add bay leaves to the porridge, here in Mexico we leavethe porridge savory, just cornmeal cooked with water or we add a li'l milk, chocolate, cane sugar and make what we call 'champurrado', both are great either as breakfast or a quick night snack(merienda), accompanying buñuelos or tamales.Thank you for sharing Racquel, 👍and greetings👋for your family and you from central Mexico.🤠

Evaporated milk, whole milk, almond milk, any type of milk would work just fine

If you have never tried it, then you can only assume.
If you don’t like the flavor of Bay Leaves then Cinnamon Leaves or stick is also an option.
But I can tell you, the flavor was on point! Really tasty !
@@RacquelsCaribbeanCuisine maybe because it was 2 big bey leaves for one single bowl, that just seems like alot. maybe i thought because u were doing a video you used alot to show it for editing purpose. sorry i meant no disrespect
Don't make it bun yuh. 🙄
🤭
Tasty - 100%.
Healthy - absolutely not! Full of sugar and carbs. If you have T2D or are overweight, this will do you NO favours!
I love it though. 😍😍

Healthy? 😂😂😂 It’s a nice treat, but definitely not healthy 😂😂😂
The fiber in it makes it healthy lol
