After owning Fords, Rams, and GM’s.... I bought my first Titan (a 2020) back in October and I do believe I won’t go back to another manufacturer. I’ve been really pleased with the performance as well as the fuel economy of my truck. Real world same drive in the previously mentioned makes and my fuel economy I’m getting currently is around 5-7 mpg better! Couldn’t be happier. Great job on the review for the 2021 Nissan Titan.
Are you still liking the Titan ?
@@mikeriv60 He’s still pushing it home.
@@gifford888
Lol good one.
You must be one of those big 3 garbage pale owners lol.
I'm loving my 2021 Nissan Titan Pro4x. Far better then any thing from the big 3 in that price range.
Confirmed about the mileage. 2022 F150 Ecoboost 4 cylinder getting 17.5mpg, 2022 titan v8 getting 25mpg cruising at 75mph.
@@vpghahat6328 Are you really getting 25 mpg on the Titan? I thought highway mpg was 21 at best
Just bought this same truck a 2021 Titan SV. Videos like this have been very helpful in making my decision. Thank you for your work.
Do you still like it? Looking to buy a new one coming up.
I bought a 2021 Nissan Titan SV and I love it. It’s a beast if you ask me.
What’s the payload of your truck
Frankly, to be honest, i'm not surprised. Redline Reviews says that Nissan & Mercedes share the same technologies! Watch @ 10:09 czcams.com/video/MWAQn1-jcxU/video.html
I have one too. Man talk about power even got the color I want.
Frankly..
How are you liking Titan ?
Any problems.
Thanks
It's a very nice truck but not in the same class as a Ford 150 or a Dodge ram I test drove them all
Thanks you Ben for showing the Nissan titan built a cool truck love it
I’m starting to see a lot more of them nowadays, word is getting out that these are solid trucks
I love the exhaust notes. Has a nice growl, even better than the 5.7L Hemi.
I bought a brand new 2019 PRO-4X lifted , amazing looking truck
I like this white truck! Amazing video Ben.
I bought a '18 SV brand new, this truck is awesome
Damn those Sentras and Rogues look good in the background
Just moved to TN and need another vehicle. Been looking at used and between the F10, ram and titan i like the titan beat.. i am really leaning towards it and the 5.6 to my knowledge is a pretty reliable engine.
Hey Ben. Have you heard of the GlassCoat application for vehicles? If so, what are your thoughts? I’m thinking of having it done on my 2015 Rebel.
I bought the Titan XD SV 4x4 gas model and this is a very underrated truck, ford, chevy and dodge make room for the new dog un the porch!
2020 bought in Nov. 30th 2020!
An F150 owner was making fun of me for my titan. Every month he’s in the shop for a different engine issue and they are not covered by any warranty.
Nice truck I hope you test drive the new frontier
i test drove the new titan SL. Somehow I felt like the interior is a little bit smaller, narrower in truck category, comparing to the tundra, and f150, feeling it was just a tiny bit wider than my 2013 honda odyssey in term of width . Have you noticed that too?
I just got mine and I love it.
Looks totally acceptable with the body color-painted grille.
Very helpful.
Can’t really beat it for the price. These things look sick in black
I love my 1st gen Titan hasn’t failed me after 240k miles I’m currently saving up for 2021 Titan just like the one you showed but quick question would you recommend tow mirrors for someone who has never used them before or just keep the stock ones? Great Review keep it up
If your trailer is over 7 feet wide definitely get the tow mirrors
Nice my ‘04 Titan is at 283k with no major issues at all
Man that Titan sounds nice
If i decide to replace the headlights with the LED headlights is that possible?
Have you ever run out of gas on one of these test runs? Would love to see review you the Titan HD Platinum Reserve. Interested in seeing the difference in interior and ride quality.
Anyone know if the aftermarket makes a larger fuel tank for these like they did for the diesel xd?
I love my 2017 Titan Platinum Reserve! Bought it with 65k on it. Now has 69k and it’s been a solid truck.
Solid truck!
Well done.
What’s they payload?
Is that true that Nissan will shut off truck line in US next year?
One of the few reviews for the average Joe.
Are objects in the side mirrors closer than they appear?
Are these trucks reliable?
I think Nissan is underrated
Excelente!!
do an xd model!!!
Nice 🔥🔥😉
Can you please do the 2021 Kia telluride
Plan on it
Great review Ben ,but one thing I notice when you test new vehicles is please remove or Flipp down the window sticker so you can see to your right. If you get into a collision or hit a pedestrian while turning right ,it will be 100% your fault when you get charged by police .Law states you have to see both sides and front clearly with no obstructions. Like your reviews but that really bugs me.👍🏻
OMG! Come on man!!!
@@leedanielson7452 don’t give me this crap dude ,it your responsibility when you test drive a new vehicle when you get out of the dealership lot and onto public road. You are treated the same as everybody else,no excuse. I guess you don’t care if you have live with guilt of injuring a pedestrian while turning right and you can’t see because of a big paper window sticker is blocking your vision. Your license, your guilt.that’s all I have to say.
@@erniearruda8861 Don’t worry about it dog everything‘s gonna be OK....😊👍
Sleeper, best truck I’ve had
Sadly, it hasn't change much from my 2018
I'm thinking about getting a Nissan platinum reserve
Nice truck
I just purchased one with all the options and I love it. It's a beautiful truck that's very underrated.
I've got a 2017 and it's rock solid. I would highly recommend it
I would think again
I love mine. Tow 7k regularly and it does great.
Payload is low compared to a Ford F-150 XLT trim which I think is close to 2,000lbs. But the Titan SV is a nice truck if you don't want to tow a heavy travel trailer.
Question for Ben and anyone else, are Nissans trucks built to last? Would this be a reliable vehicle to own for its lifetime. Thanks
I have no personal experience with the Titan, but Nissan has been making their 5.6 V8 for nearly 20 years. The new 9 speed transmission is supposed to be a major improvement over the 7 speed in the ‘17-19 titan. Everything else is pretty simple inside and out, nothing crazy to go wrong like with some of the new super tech-heavy trucks. Id say this should be an extremely safe bet as long as you follow the maintenance schedule Nissan recommends.
Never had a Nissan but why risk it? Go with RAM,Ford, or Chevy...😊👍
@@leedanielson7452 Lol Ram has the worst quality out of all of them. So how is the Titan more of a gamble ?
@@leedanielson7452
That a funny comment
The most important question is: are these Jactco made transmissions? ...No matter how super-über nice they look...Jatco made will not have me sold.
The new 9-speed tranny Nissan is using is made by ZF, the large German maker of excellent transmissions.
You can haggle on a Titan for thousands. Can't haggle much on an F150. Definitely a much better truck for the money.
Dont sleep on the Titan, it’s an excellent choice. I’d probably buy an F150 or Ram over a Titan, but the Titan is as good as, if not better than the Tundra in every measurable way.
It is 100% better then the Tundra , but all the Competition is. The Tundra is a 8 year old design. It has the worst cabin , and get's horrible mileage.
This will be my last resort but still nice truck
One those mountains look fake! Second, the towing is on the lower side from the big three us brands.
Can you do the new refreshed armada
Nissan is a really good truck. It's too bad so many buy that gm junk.
Good looking titan. If it's reliable thats always the question on nissan stuff. Renault has ruined nissan quality. But it looks good hope it works out. I pefer the tundra though
Titans are reliable
1300lb payload is very disappointing for a half-ton.
Great Truck without all the fancy fixins’ it’s just a freggin truck, not a luxury vehicle
It just doesn't feel like a full size truck compared to the other 4. Especially in the crew cab
Nissan Altima interior feel lol
I'm a new viewer and was wondering why you bother showing yourself turning the headlight dial on and off?
Just a transition clip
It's another great option if u need a truck
That's why they sell them, for people who want or need a truck, something useful instead of a toy like useless sedan or sports car..
got a 2017 gas mileage sucks
Call AAA Ben if you run out of gas.
😆😆😆
I DON'T KNOW WHO MAKES THIS CARS AND TRUCKS IS TOO MUCH NOW
It’s a nice lookin truck but....The Titan is probably in 4th or 5th place......IMO...
Trash 🗑.. HALOGEN LIGHTS.. really
I had this truck for a rental this month and this was the worst truck I’ve ever drove
We all know, you’re not going to like it as much as the Ford.
I think it's a great competitor. Just lacking in engine choices.
I like the fact you dont have to pay extra for the 5.6 v8.
My Titan is way better than either of my other F-150s
The payload is pitiful on this truck
I cant afford the rediculously expensive amount the new nissans have become. I will buy one used and save a bundle
No enough luxury for me love the truck just not enough luxury for women
Good reason for a man to buy it. Teach women a lesson.
You can't beat Ford but nice truck
Sure you can.
@@mikeriv60 no you can't
@@aaronwilson5978
Coming from me a person that's owned 4 mustangs and 3 F150s starting in 1989....
Yes you can.
Take care now.
@@mikeriv60 have you seen the 2021 F150 it looks amazing regardless of what trim you get ford throws In premium upgrades on the lower end trims you compare to the Japanese companies Toyota Honda Nissan etc. And GM And RAM they always over charge for there trucks and you get less for your money Ford gives you so much for so little
@@aaronwilson5978
I have and I think the 2021 F150s are very nice and on my list but I will not just throw the Titan to the curb because people can't get past the big 3.
In all honesty ATM the F150 is my 1st choice but I also go by who has great deals and incentives ATM I go to buy.
The Frontier is probably the best truck out there if your looking for reliable. It's a tank in terms of it but I really wouldn't buy it but it's a fact. Can't kill those things.
Nice but I'd still take the ram, f150 and silverado over this
I agree, same here. Honestly, body style on the nissan looks flat, the front end looks dated still and lots of dated parts on the inside that dont seem to match the flow of the styling. It looks like a bad hodgepodge mix to me.
I like the redesign. I had one of the Titans when they first came out and it was cutting edge then
Ram is garbage
I like the fact the nissan has the 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, the price can easily be negotiated to well below the domestics, thw 5.6 has plenty of power, and I love the adjustable headlights via the dial on the dash. Great for towing and hauling because you can dip your headlights back down to the ground instead of blinding oncoming traffic.
Doesn’t compare with that low quality and low resolution camera system. It’s 2022 and Titan’s camera quality is at best laughable!
It cant compare because its better in all ways except for gas mileage but then again its a v8 truck
Interior is terrible
The design looks like a knock-off f-150. The tires look too skinny for that big frame. I don't mind how basic and cheap it looks cause ik they are trying to sell a cheap ass product. But yeah, if you add Nissan's terrible reliability in the mix, I personally really dislike this truck.
My 16 xd platinum reserve has had zero issues. My brothers 18 pro4x has over 90,000 miles and also has had zero issues, and the 5 yr 100,000 miles bumper to bumper warranty is nice to have as well.
Gotta be the ugliest truck ever
Ford F-150 100% I’m not spending my money making a bad financial choice buying that. Ford lasts longer, is nicer, and isn’t a piece of crap like that. no offence
How about you design a truck because your a subject matter expert on trucks, help Nissan out instead you wanna bash an automaker for trying, who’s the POS now, you act like Ford is the most perfect and they don’t make mistakes, please invent a truck so we can brutally bash it too
No way a f150 outlast a Titan. Nissan and Toyota are heads and tails above any big 3. It’s hard head massage like you that keep buying junk.
@Ken Johnson Ford is way over priced. Here in Houston get a 4x4 titan for 39k
I have a 2019 Titan and love it! Seriously one of if not the most over looked truck out there. Plenty of room for the family, a 6ft bed, very useful cargo rail/tie down system in the bed (don't know why more companies don't to this) use it all the time, l.e.d. lights back there, and will tow anything ill need. Once you put the ego away, stop being a fan boy & realize these companies could care less about your "loyalty " it makes looking for a vehicle that much easier.
Only in USA people think Ford is better than Nissan. The rest of the world doesn’t agree with you guys. No offense just straight facts.
