Drone Norfolk, Virginia | Elizabeth River

Aerial drone flying over Norfolk, Virginia shows this pretty military city from above. I did not fly over the city with me flying during business hours and I stayed away from projects that may be sensitive. Norfolk is truly beautiful and this waterway I flew over shows how the city has been built with easy access to the Atlantic Ocean which is crucial for what is done here along the Elizabeth River.

Included on this channel are some driving and snorkeling videos and even a couple bike rides I recorded.
You can also see my beginning drone videos looking at 2016 dates when I filmed in safe nature areas. I practiced how to crash safely, how to fly with three propellers and how to ground the drone and drive to it. I practiced in snow, rain and extreme cold to make sure I understood the drones limitations before I went to the big cities. I handle a drone like I do a gun and I truly hope others do the same.

I grew up just beyond that view (Chesterfield Heights) and knew this area well. Haven’t lived in VA since 1986 and I really miss it.
