Reinstall if that doesn’t work then a factory reset. If that doesn’t work then send it back to Sony under.

For FIFA players, If it doesn’t work guys try to limit your friendlist to 100, I deleted some people from my friendlist and it worked

Hi I did what you said to do in the video and I have been playing eso on ps5 for more than two hours with the game not crashing. If I had been playing it without what you said to do I would have crashed at least twice or more. So I thank you for your advice 👍

Thank you heaps dude, I’m glad you covered both the options that are in that #5 safe mode category. This seems to have solved my issue for now and I don’t wanna jinx it but yeah, I was freezing on boot up and it kept giving the same system error message. First thing I did was stop using my extended storage because I felt like that was half the reason it kept shutting off, because it was restarting to repair that. I suppose I feel a bit better knowing this is a very common issue and it’s probably mostly because it’s still a new console
I legit got my PS5 today and was playing AC Odyssey happily for hours until it froze then hard crashed

From memory I uploaded my game files and just kept redownloading them because I did fully reset my ps5 in the end before I actually sent it off for repairs and got a new one back 🤣

I’ve had my PS5 for about 2 months now and Jedi fallen order for me has been crashing so much I’ve tried so many options at this point I might just send it in to get it repaired and fixed it’s been brutal.
Yeah if tried every fix and it still crashing nonstop. Then I would send it back to Sony under warranty.

Edit: when it doesn't work with guys do this, when it freezes on loading screen turn off your wireless dual sensor controller and turn it on, it should solve the issue

The PS5 is still new so I think SONY needs to add a new software update to fix the crashing

For me it’s freezing on the save screen of old ps4 games where when you play it on ps5, it uses the PS5 inbuilt system save screen (like a black pop up thing) rather than the games own save screen like when you play on ps4

I'm having problems with demons souls as well but my freeze happens when I try to load into an area
That something else going on. Try to reinstall the game. If that doesn’t work a full factory reset. If that doesn’t work then send it back to Sony under warranty.
When playing apex, mid game everything freezes and then everything goes back to normal but it then happens again after a few minutes

Just go on to PlayStation.com and register your ps5 using the serial number on the back. Then contact customer support.
When you bought your ps5?
I played Demons Souls…40+ hrs. Never crashed. Played Days Gone 20+ hrs. Never crashed. Went back to Demons Souls. Crashing all the time! Hope this works man.

I haven't been able to enjoy playing Elden Ring because my PS5 crashes every 10 mins.. It was also doing this while trying to play Dirt 5.
I've had nothing but hardware issues with this console.. It's actually upsetting the amount of problems I've seen from the PS5.
Rest mode has given me nothing but issues.. I've had to completely turn it off.
I’ve always turned my PlayStations off since ps3. I used just leave them running. The ps1 and 2 were tanks. I still have them and they still work!
The proper thing to do is to turn it off after use and when you don't plan to use it after a while. Leaving it on rest mode everytime isn't a very good option. Only leave it on restmode if you have to do something really quick or if you want to download games faster.
any luck with Elden Ring, I've been getting crashes from a certain area specifically game freezes after i get some sort of shadow flickering and then crashes outz
I have done everything this video mention. I know that the only games affected are ps5 games. When I tried playing chivalry it crashed. The same happened with demon souls. But atleast I know the error code which is CE 108255-1
It probably corrupted save file. Unfortunately you have to delete all your saves for that game. Let me know if it works.

I have the same problem with cold war off and on even tired the methods already you showed and removing my save file and reinstalling the game to I pre ordered my ps5 but cold war is the only game I have problems with

Just tried your method it helped thank you. For the longest time I had trouble with friends list and messages not loading. PlayStation store wouldn’t load. Spotify wouldn’t load or said I had to link acc with an error code. I was about ready to switch to Xbox with all the trouble

Yes it’s starting to overheat. So you need to send it back to Sony under warranty.

I get gta online crashing but seems to only happen every few days or so. I tried this, so will see what happens. Sony seem to be aware of it and so far no ETA on a patch for this.

When I play cod cold war it crashes mid game, it freezes and then I get error and then I comes to the menu again!
How do I fix this issue, it happened only once but now I'm nervous to play it because I see lots of people having a similar issue but instead of just getting an error code the hole system crashes, and in some cases the consoles get bricked.
Try turning ray tracing off. And set the console to performance mode. That may help with Cold War.

@@murilocanhoto I haven't gotten any crashes of cod since that last crash, but I did turn of RT though. (I don't really wanna turn it back on in case of any worst case scenario such as bricking the console!) I have seen a lot of people having that issue.
Now I have gotten 1 crash while playing ratchet and clank PS4. Now that had only happened once and also I haven't had any crashes or problems with any other games. Besides crahses I do have one issue, when I play Fortnite I have a loud but quiet buzzing noice, now I don't know if this is normal or not, the noice is weird and gets quieter and louder depending on the gameplay.
Btw: the console is really quiet otherwise when playing games, i only have that weird noice in Fortnite. (I think the sound might be cool whine, not sure though.)

So I definitely wanna try this but figured id give you my problem before: In the middle of my stream, my PS5 shut off. Its happened before. When I opened it again, it made some of my gme files corrupted and it advised me to delete and redownload the game apps. I did and still nothing. Would you suggest trying this method?

Call of the Mountain was crashing several times in the middle of the game with the PSVR2 headset on. I'll try your tips and hopefully will resolve the crashing issue. Another possibility is to clear the dust on the filter within the PS5 console that might be interfering with the cooling.

My ps5 crashes every time I’m playing a ps5 version of a game. I can only play for about 20 minutes before it turns off. I can’t turn it back on normally I have to un plug it then plug it back in. Help?

It sounds like it’s over heating and shutting down to protect itself. You’re going to have to send it back to Sony.

@@GameTrekkie I have tried everything, along with rebuilding data base and clearing cache. I think maybe it’s overheating. I had it away from the wall, have a cooling stand for it and so now I have it near an AC to see if that helps. If that don’t solve the issue then I will have to get it fixed. Even then I bought this off someone else so idk if I can even send it in. It ran just fine with warzone constantly but

That’s what my reply was going to be. Sudden shut offs are caused by over heating. Send it back to Sony under warranty for a replacement

This happens to be on Rachet & Clank: Rift Apart and Operation Tango. On R&C it will freeze before the title screen and on OT it does it when launching the first mission. My PS5 does this with no other game. Suggestions? I've tried everything here

Reinstall system software then clear the cache every once in a while
Also I have frame rate issues with mine. Is that hardware related. It is not drastic just little jitters every now and then. Noticeable though.
