- This video Estoniaball goes and spends a day in Slovakia!
🇸🇰 Slovakia is a country that is often overshadowed by its neighbors - Czechia, Ukraine, Poland, Austria and Hungary.. either that or it is commonly mistaken for the Balkan/Central European country of Slovenia not too far away, which we visited in one of our last episodes. In this video we do not see all there is to see here, as we unfortunately did not have time to go to Bratislava, the High Tatras or Košice. Instead we make a road trip from Budapest Hungary to Krakow Poland, passing largely through Slovakia! Thus in this video we check out the amazing landscapes and small roadside towns as well as the city of Banska Bystrica. I hope you enjoy!

Learning slovak language is not a very good idea because of our grammar rules(difficult to learn even for a native person) but if you want to be in pain, I'm not against it.(greetings from Nitra, I got a brain aneurysm from the beginning of the video)

Yeah, Slovakia is so underrated, I live there for like almost a year and I tried their food, it's good and I live in Banska-Bystrica which is beautiful, it has great nature, everything is green and that's all I had to say as Ukrainian who escaped the war.

@@iAdam43 Yeah, it's really good to live, everything is much easier than in Ukraine and different. Didn't get the second question but we moved to Banská Bystrica because in Košice we got recommended to go there to have a normal life. Much love to Slovakia 🇺🇦❤️🇸🇰.

The Slovak and Hungarian coats of arms have one thing in common. On the right side of the Hungarian coat of arms, you can see the Tatras, Fátra and Mátra, with a golden crown and a double cross. There is no crown in the Slovak coat of arms, but an element of the Kossuth coat of arms is still used by an entire state
Yeah Well the double cross was from Cyril and Methodius witch came to Great Moravia in 863.. then hungarians accepted it Also Slovaks.. the double cross was Later the c-o-a of Felvidék and Stripes were c-o-a of lower Hungary.. Then we just took the felvidék coa and changed it to panslavic colours and deleted the hungarian crown 👍 its funny that there are still 3 mountains and the 3rd one is in Hungary 😂 We share history we are Brothers
@@iAdam43 The double cross on the coat of arms does not come from Cyril. That was the Nitra cross, that's different. The Nitra cross is horizontal with two equal vertical lines dividing it into three equal parts. The double cross on the coat of arms of Slovakia and Hungary with the three hills was first used by Béla III, king of Hungary. He based it directly of Byznatine heraldry, becouse he was a candidate for the Byzantine throne.

@@anotherhistoryenthusiast5874 Double cross on a red field was definitely the heraldic symbol of the Principality of Nitra. Which existed centuries before the reign of Bela III and the beginning of Hungary. This principality was a remnant of Great Moravia and was heavily influenced by Byzantine missionaries. So there is some truth in this opinion.

getting high in high tatras is also a pretty traditional way to spend weeekends in slovakia, more you know
Please, do not get high in Tatras, if you do not have ticket for cable-car down. Its really expensive to saving all the tourist from Czechia and our budget is tight. Also its quitte emotionaly exhausting to write letters to Czechs moms why you precious son did not made it to Poprad.

Kofola is from Czech city named Opava, it is from farmacy company. State send order to make oposition of coca cola. They made it. Now Kofola is produced in both countries. Škoda is Czech. Good video, have a great day.
