    John, Jack, Dara & Diego - “ Despacitos” chúrsa A, in aicsean sa bpuball. Damhsóirí thar barr - a leithéid d'oíche.
    Stiúrthóir ceoil Saidhbhe Ní Chuillinn
    Liricí:
    Tara uait anonn - ní le heiseann
    Ná coinnigh faoi rún - airím freisin
    Yeah
    A’ cur ‘s a’ cuitreanh sea go deimhin
    Yeah
    Oh- níos fearr
    ‘Ghrian na luí -a’ deireadh lae
    ‘Gheallach lonnra ‘nuas mín réidh
    Me ‘g iarra breith ar chuile nóiméad
    I gcónaí - gcónaí

    Bhuail me chomh sciopaí - ‘nois níl fhios a’am
    Nach raibh tada eile dhomsa riamh i ndán
    Tú a’am anois faoi dheireadh thiar - a’ bfhéadfadh sé bheith gconaí fíor
    ‘Bheabaí - gabh go réidh ‘ s bí go deo ann
    Ó, ‘s tú - tusa chuireans glan mé as mo mheabhair
    Mo chuid fola bruith nuair a bhíonn tú gar
    Ni fhéadfadh tada riamh a bheith níos mó
    Oh, yeah, yeah , tá mé gu do iarra’ cuma an baol
    Leanfainn thú as seo go dtí deireadh an tsaoil
    Tada ‘rist go brách a chuirfeas anró
    I do dhiaidh chomh
    Mór ‘s an ghrian ‘s a mhéadu faoi dhó
    A’ bhfuil inti agus tuilleadh nios mó
    Brách na breith’ ‘s as sin go (dtí) deo
    I do dhiaidh chomh
    Mór ‘s an ghrian ‘s a mhéadu faoi dhó
    A’ bhfuil inti agus tuilleadh nios mó
    Brách na breith’ ‘s as sin go (dtí) deo
    ‘Chailín tú mo ghearradh
    ‘gAireachtáil a’ talamh crith fúm
    Tonnta guma bháigh ngan fhios dhom
    Tusa ‘mháin in ann mé thabhairt slán
    Mé thabhairt slán - ‘bheabaí
    Gach rud riamh a cheap me bailí ‘nois bunoscionn
    ‘S tú an t-aon leigheas i ndán dhom
    Mionaim dhuit a bhfuil istigh ionam
    Quiero, quiero, quiero ver cuánto amor a ti te cabe
    Yo no tengo prisa, yo me quiero dar el viaje
    Empecemos lento, después salvaje
    Tá sí beo, tá sí beo -
    Scread amach tá sí beo
    Cuma linn faoi aon cheo -
    Mairfidh muid go (dti) deo
    ‘Sí an ceann is deise
    Sin a dhéarfas mise
    ‘Bac le lucht a cáinte
    Imeodh siad go hifreann

    Esta es una imitación irlandesa (gaélica) de una hermosa canción. Tuvimos un tiempo maravilloso preparando para nuestro espectáculo de la escuela. Estamos en deuda con Luis Fonsi y Daddy Yankee y esperamos mucho que aprecien nuestro homenaje a su trabajo.

      @@winneracc this band does mostly covers of popular English songs such as Adele , u2 they’ve done even done a lovely cover of John legends all of me trust me that one will make you cry 😢. They are a school band from one of the Gaeltachts from what I know .this one was a game changer as it’s got two languages to translate into gaeilge English and Spanish not easy as you say !! But whilst I might not understand the words in Irish ( still learning ) Irish to me is one of the most beautiful languages I’ve had the privilege of learning . Love it I stand behind the proverb - tir ni teanga Tir ni anam ( a land without a language is a land without a soul )

    • @michelleflood7225
      @michelleflood7225 Před 2 lety +3

      Well naturallament mon ami that’s where the language of Breton ( Brittany ) is from it’s just in the other Celtic language group of Brythonic languages the others in that one are welsh and Cornish . Irish , Scots Gaelic ( gaidhlig ) and Manx Gaelic are all goidelic languages . And the Celtic empire did take in parts of modern day Germany & Switzerland , and as you rightly say parts of France too !

    • @michelleflood7225
      @michelleflood7225 Před 2 lety +1

      Of course as that’s where the Celtic language of Breton is from ( Brittany area ) that’s in the other Celtic language group to this though Irish is goidelic whereas Breton is Brythonic Celtic language . Parts of Gaul and Brittany were inhabited by Celts back in the Iron Age so this explains it . Archeologists have discovered celtic artificacts in France also parts of Germany as well so celts didn’t just inhabit Britain they were vastly spread out across Europe . What I love about Irish is how it lends itself brilliantly to music and poetry and because of my ancestry ( 75% ) of which is Irish I’m learning it as a way of embracing my roots .

    Just an opinion, but after reading the comments I think irish people should value more their language, I mean that´s part of your culture and identity, I´m from Chile and I would love to learn mapuche (aboriginal language), unfortunetely in my country there are not opportunities to learn it from schools, we just learn english ( I mean, we care more about learning a foreign language than OUR language). I think the song is awesome and now I just love more Irish people

      natalia guzman lots of Irish people do value their language but sadly lots of the kids these days are brainwashed into thinking it's not "cool" because English and Americans tell them so and they are being brainwashed into their cultures more and general integration has naturally made it die a bit more too. But I think they are wrong, it's a great language and it deserves to live on.

I know very few people who can hold a conversation in Irish regardless of age. These kids are embracing it way more than the generations the came before them in my opinion. Names Harry It's OK, the voices are so edited that people who are fluent can barely here the fuck they're saying

    • @liqritrs8391
      @liqritrs8391 Před 7 lety +1

      Names Harry I'm a native speaker and although very hard to hear once you do hear it it doesn't make sense. The translations are just appalling and make no sense for example the chorus "I do dhiadh chomh" which makes no sense, "as/also/like in behind you".
      This is Lurgan, the epitome of shit for learning Irish, they highlight the language which is fantastic and if they bothered enforcing the Irish rule and made actual translations the songs and Lurgan would be good, however, none of that exists there and around 30% of the people in the video don't speak any Irish and will fail it in the leaving, and another 70% I'd say so ordinary and finally 100% speak English only on their courses

    • @Mac_an_Mheiriceanaigh
      @Mac_an_Mheiriceanaigh Před 7 lety

      it's true. even if the lyrics were written perfectly, it would be difficult to understand. It is always hard to understand when someone who has no knowledge of a language tries to speak or sing it, even if the words are all correct. The pronunciation and the stress and the cadence are just all wrong. It is like English but with Irish words, not like Irish. Unfortunately that's all you really hear from kids these days. Even in the Gaelscoileanna it's all just English with Irish words. So far in my life I have never heard a child speak Irish without an English accent. Hopefully that will change when I have children...

    • @booksaremybag4684
      @booksaremybag4684 Před 7 lety

      Names Harry,
      But now you're even better because you can learn how to sing modern songs as Gaeilge!

    • @booksaremybag4684
      @booksaremybag4684 Před 7 lety

      Liqrit Rs,
      That's not Lurgan's fault, that's modern "music's" fault.
      How many songs in English actually use proper correct English? Even like Nicki Minaj just makes noises like ughhh, yuch and says YO! through most of her songs and "songs" like Whip my Hair and Closer by Chainsmokers are also testament to broken English in music.
