I've had breaker x2 in the side for combo frogs forever and it has felt amazing. The logic was the same as you presented here, no single card is better at outting dyna + backrow AND oppression
Reassurance from the combo frog master means a lot to me lmao. So many other frog players just tell me it's bad without trying it but it's a staple to me at this point
Breaker seems good but 2 swap is crazy to me, it's one of the most crazy cards in the format and enables the majority of your plays and cards in this deck. You also need 3 of it to otk with junk warrior
Also I always want to cut crow but whenever I do I play against janky otk decks that are surprisingly bad matchups and in which crow is the best card against them, it's annoying
I noticed that the majority of my game 1 losses were to bricking on frogs. Dupe and toad search it and if I open treeborn then swap isn't necessary, I'm a fan of 2 swap so far. The only change I'd make is cutting econ for the 3rd fader since that's the only card that needs early treeborn.
@@alexdaman3997 I think fader and compulsory are fine replacements. People suggest 3 crow but I'm never happy opening multiple crow or drawing into it too late

D prisons come in vs every matchup where you side out fader. Vanity/dyna/ddv/oppression are problematic and prison helps you stay alive for a bit. Its also more likely to go through in postboard games after backrow removal gets sided out

As a fellow 2 swap-frog main decker, I believe it is the way as well. Not sure I like snowman as much in the main, but your reasoning is valid and I can't debate it. People really over-attribute cards like monarchs and e-conn being dead due to that 5% difference. Plus the rest of your deck can often handle it. On a secondary note - have you considered dark dust spirit? Non targeting removal + self-bouncing + can dodge rug if you set it instead of just normal summon. Sure its legacy of yata fodder potentially, but they don't often wait long enough for that to happen tbh.
LOL my reasoning was "I won 2 matches with it" in the video. Blackwing is the most consistent deck with beating frogs g1 in my experience so I wanted the best anti blackwing card. It serves as tribute fodder while also being a nice wall and it was always amazing as a side card so I figured I'd just maindeck it. I do think people overlook how often drawing all frogs will hurt them. I have played dark dust spirit in other lists but not with Hero Frog since it does the same thing as ab0 which is oftentimes good enough. I'd be a lot more scared of walking into starlight road than Yata but yata is another thing to consider. Chaining starlight to ab0's effect doesnt let them summon stardust dragon since monsters cant be destroyed in the banished zone or graveyard. I'd personally add a 2nd raiza if I wanted another tribute summon but too many tribute summons can lead to bricks. Appreciate the suggestion!
@@10footD I meant more your reasoning for trying it lol - aggro decks like blackwing, diva hero beat, and glads tend to be the hardest games for me. I cut it for 2nd threatening roar, but snowman eater is similar in principle. Fair on dust, I swapped my raiza with it for a bit - and I'll be honest the intersection with legacy of yata was so rare that I think maybe 1/30 matches got an extra draw cause of it. It did well, and im still split on it over raiza. But if you tried it, eh it aint for ya.
i was trying cyber valley in the main deck, i think that is a good card in combo with enemy controller and 141 when u have already summoned all the substitoad or u can re use, third eff, the miracle bringing it in the top of ur deck. what u think about it?
Cyber valley is better when you have another way to convert it, I think my list doesn't play enough conversions like extra copies of econ for it to be worthwhile. It can be a liability vs a lot of cards going 2nd so my hunch tells me to shy away from it. I've never tried it though and I have drawn One for One without any targets plenty of times so it could be worth a shot. Usually I see it in decks that put up a lot of tokens on the field or have another way of using it like Machina Frog. Thank you for the suggestion!

I found this tech in a Monarch version with Kuraz and tokens, where it's utilized to the fullest, but even so, only in the Hero version where you can fully utilize its potential, I think it fits really well. This way, you can even afford to have 1x Consecrated Light in the side deck. cuz u can side out it and put Consacrated light without siding out 141. However, these are all tests I'm conducting. Nah, you're right, breaker is a pretty cool idea. It still gets hit by rug, but it answers the floodgates on one card which is nice. The only thing I'm absolutely sure of missing in your list is the 3rd swap. It's cool to play snowman, but you can't cut the 3rd swap for it. The ratio of your treeborn access t1 goes from 80.82% to 76.39%. That's 1/25 games completely skewed from missing the 3rd swap. If you take the match against Corinna in the Karpath vid as an example, you open snowman and no treeborn access and have to pitch econ off raigeki break to even live and at that point in the game drawing treeborn access wouldn't even help because you're behind so much tempo. You don't always lose when you don't have early treeborn access, but not opening it basically means you go second or even worse, you were already going second and you basically lost because you give them two battle phases before you can start efficiently accessing payoffs. Frogs need a turn to establish their engine before they can even start accessing their removal unless you want to go hugely neg (matters for card quality not necessarily card advantage).
Funny that you mention that. I don't want to brick on swap but econ does become dead more often with the lack of swap so I've decided that I should be cutting econ for the 3rd fader for extra tribute fodder. 3 swap has its advantages but I was also noticing that most of my losses were due to drawing all frogs
