I love all his songs. They take you by the heart. He puts so much meaning into it. Its beautiful. He truely is great. So much meaning it, if makes you want to cry. You just have to listen real close. It takes you somewhere else.
This guy's a bloody genius! His score for The Fountain is probably only matched bij Ennio Morricone's score for Once Upon A Time In The West. It's otherworldly beautiful and makes me choke up every time I listen to it.
Super concert ; Together we will live forever et Death is the road to awe m'ont donné des frissons... génial. Dommage qu'ils n'aient pas joué Dead Reckoning (Smokin' Aces)... mais bon fallait bien faire un choix...
If I remember well it was a woman who was on the right of the stage. I think the person who filmed could not see her. She was not easy to see ; when there was just piano, people were watching at Clint Mansell whereas he was just playing some notes from time to time.
@WayneYonke dude we like those composers as well, i particularly like in this list Bernard Hermann and his song "Twisted Nerve" Strange as it may seem we are not philistines for liking this song/composer I adore Clint Mansell because a lot of his pieces are haunting but that does not stop me listening to others, i like rock, metal, indie, pop and various other genres so please dont troll us because we like Clint's work. Thank you.
@WayneYonke good name drops but i like mansell as a minimalist composer. i fell like he does that better than most composers. john murphy is another good example.
C'est vraiment impressionnant de voir jouer Death is the Road to Awe en live, beaucoup plus impressionnant que de le voir en vidéo surtout que les vidéos sont en général de mauvaises qualités, mal cadrées et avec un son très mauvais.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....... Sorry. Boring. This makes Hans zimmer's work in the 90's on crap like Green Card and Regarding Henry sound like Mozart. I'm glad it means something to you people about to start hating on me. Taco Bell means something to some people, too. So I hear. Do yourself a favor folks and find Phillip glass' work company. If u like this, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
In my opinion this is one of the most moving pieces of music ever written.
Literally, best piano melody and piece every written in the history of music. -chris
Clint Mansells so awesome all he has to do is look at the piano to play it.
this is the best thing i ever saw and heard in my life i saw it first time few years ago and keep watching it every while thank you
perhaps the greatest ever film made. There are no words for the music.
ever experience it while on mushrooms?
If my heart could speak it is this. Thank you.
This not Music! This is ART!!!!!!!!!!!!
Capone Vito music is art though... lol
What kind of magic is this :)))
sometimes it doesnt mend. people die of a broken heart. all they want is to go knowing someone understands.

Clint Mansell is so awesome when he stares at chuck norris, chuck runs!
love this soundtrack..
Pure beauty ❤
Broken hearts will mend
the best comment on youtube ever !!!!
What a performance. The strings are playing the original Antony Hegarty vocal melodies that were supposed to be in the song. So good.
I was brought to tears watching this video. What an amazing privilege to have been there. Did this concert sell out?
this pain this sadness ... this was the last was i heard when she was leave me :(
Although there was nearly no communication about this concert (before the event), the Union Chapel was nearly full if I remember well.
Such a Beautiful Song

Thus violin will kill me. I am dying
@black1988swan there was probably a real piano playing somewhere behind the quartet
@WayneYonke good name drops but i like mansell as a minimalist composer. i fell like he does that better than most composers. john murphy is another good example.
Minimalist composer :) I love that term!
@PD4life =)))) I know, just something was wrong with notes (or maybe with my hear)))
Is there a version of this song with the violin added?
@Modelcit I don't see him looking at a Piano, I see him looking at a Keyboard.
whats that film in the background at the top???
beautiful music
Clint needs to get pogoing again - thats some gut he's raising...
What’s the film, documentary called?
Why isn't Mansell playing it?
Why the hell he isn't playing the piano part? I don't get it.
He said he wasn't a good piano player. His main instrument is guitar and TWWLF seems to be a composition for a more advanced player.

I want to watch the entire video, but these full-body chills are annoying me.
What the f...k with piano? =)))) in the end
this song, isn't really a song at all...its much more....
*pfiuf*
