Kevin must do what is right for him. Taylor should have finished the script ahead of time and not left everyone hanging, they all have their own lives to live. There is more effort going into the spinoffs which are not getting made anytime soon it seems. So why is Kevin to blame.

I disagree totaly on Yellowstone television series should not be ending early with more thinking outside the box Yellowstone storyline can be extended almost indefinetly like 1980s Dallas or Falcon Crest television series with a deeper thicker storyline about native american indian tribal struggle with urbanisation expansion in countryside on indian owned land or Monica becomes Dutton family new matriarch so there is many ways to improve Yellowstone television series storyline.

I think Kevin being the father of those kidsx who got out of line needs to deal with his fathering role for v the State of The Nation. He must set Beth right for claiming she did wrong to please her father. It is still his resonsibility to show correction, even tho she is an adult. It is up to the patriarch before he passes away to get this correction in line, as that could be a touching scene. And lastly, Beth was permisquous & that comes with a price of being in pain herself for inflicting pain & suffering. I paid the price even tho it's under the Blood of Christ, our savior offering salvation & I changed my ways for when I was rough...I was given mercy because I had no dad that early in life. She did so, if he could be such a rancher keeping up with all those cattle, why would he negate his children. Truth is, Sheraton could not write what he didn't know. Either he works with Costner or ruin the script as it was written for Costner who who was living upright according to his divorce decree of who actually opted out first.

Sad but this has become such a bad send off. Kevin is to be paid under contract and let him move on egos. Dragging this argument only brings fans to walk away from Sheldon's ending or drawn out series he want to do to get more out of Kevin's status and name .it also an injustice to the other awesome actors in the series! The original cast was how it should have been because Sheldon added more sets after he realized he could make more money and run with the series using Kevin as the excuse when the contract was for the 5 series. Sad because it is beloved by millions of viewers
...to not pay the lead actor is just wrong! He's owed the 5 seasons at best.... thrnnand only then would it become no harm no foul with the proper ends for the role of John Dutton. 😢
