I loved playing this game! I remember I'd just level some random player so that little ambulance went on the screen. It was one of the most awesome/funniest hockey games ever. It was also hilarious when you jacked up some player, he would do, like, 4 flips in the air before crashing on to the ice, lol.

Yea like someone else said this game had like an automatic handicap or something. Everytime you scored like 3 goals or something the computer or even a second player would score a goal on like their next shot. It was obviously implemented to keep the games close and exciting.
@08WSChamps oh dude, from 93-01 the soundtracks ruled, NHL 99's was a fucking dream team of tunes, hockey games for the most part have always had great soundtracks
i wish they still named sports video games after the best players in the league like kobe bryant's nba ken griffey jr's mlb brett farve's nfl and gretzky's nhl man those were the days

@Frozintoe yea totally agree on that...all the older 90s games had awesome music. I love the old slap bass and electric drum stuff for video games (like sonic or seinfeld theme). Great jams.

@08WSChamps lol same throughout the past couple yrs ive watched alot of winfan191's vids and others just for intros and music lol which i forgot to mention wingfan ur vids are excellent u have so many of time which requires a good bit of time...btw does neone know how to record from your dvd player directly to ur computer so i dnt have to burn as many dvds?
personally, the FoxTrax was alright...i only liked it when they took slapshots and it had the red trail at the end. If the 'Trax puck was like this multi-colored, it wouldve been completly weird to look at lol

This is a good, fun game (more fun with more players!) Me and my buddies play this game all the time. It is very competitive and awesome game. Best with 4 players!
