Acquired or adaptive immunity only develops after there has been contact with a particular antigen. An individual is said to be immune to a particular pathogen when it may be introduced into the body, without causing illness. In contrast to innate immunity, the immune system is changed as a result of exposure to a particular antigen.
Acquired immunity is specific to a particular antigen. For example, previous exposure to the measles virus will have allowed the immune system to adapt, generating immunity to any future measles infection. However, because the response is specific, the individual may still suffer from mumps, influenza, or indeed any other antigenic organism it has not previously been exposed to.
Antigens (antibody generators)
An antigen is anything the immune system recognises as being foreign. When detected, antigens generate an immune response in the body. It is antigens which stimulate the production of antibodies, which are the immune proteins. Usually an antigen is a foreign protein that the body recognises as non-self. The outer coatings of bacteria and viruses contain such foreign proteins. Non-protein large molecules (with a molecular mass of over 1000) will also be antigenic if introduced into the body. So a wide variety of living and non living things can act as antigens; such things are said to possess antigenicity. The specific component of an antigen the immune system recognises as foreign is termed an epitope.
Cells involved in adaptive immunity
The important classification of white cells involved in adaptive immunity is the small lymphocytes. Small lymphocytes have a large nucleus with only a small area of cytoplasm. In addition to being found in the blood, there are many small lymphocytes in the structures of the lymphatic system, such as the spleen, tonsils and lymph nodes.
Small lymphocytes are able to recognise antigenic material, this is essential if they are to mount an immune response. It is estimated that small lymphocytes are capable of producing 100 million different shapes of surface receptors in order to recognise 100 million different forms of antigen. This diversity seems to allow the immune system to recognise all of the possible antigens on the surface of the planet.

Yep lost my job in Perth Australia as an electrician on a mine site, was laughed at villified and called a tin foil hat conspiracy theorist, my friend and personal trainer (29) died from a heart attack two days after his second jab, was brushed under the carpet, we were treated like animals not even aloud to buy coffee or alcohol or allowed in coffee shops or cafes, I'll never forgive them

Very sad to hear this. I am also in Australia and surprised to hear the covid stats being ramped up again with more pressure to get boosted. With so many injuries and the excess deaths soaring, one wonders what the public response will be this time around. I hope and pray that people have learned the power of NO!

I am so sorry you were treated this malevolently Thee. It’s horrific. And NOBODY is apologizing for this 1930’s style behavior towards those who refused to buy into the “vaccine” lies. I had friends tell me they would no longer be able to meet with me as I was a danger to them and their families. Now they behave as if this never happened. A colleague told my husband “it’s people like you who killed my father” at a time when it was already widely known that the “vaccine” didn’t prevent transmission, hence that cruel statement made no sense.
Disciplinary action has to be taken against all those oppressive individuals, even if it means denouncing the whole government infrastructure, these individuals clearly are not fit for purpose. The Djokovic saga was appalling, the venomous action shown to Novac was that of a low class bunch of egotistical villains.
Slowly coming out that we were all LIED to and that many of us were highlighting this over two years ago...

I've lost a 33 year old fit healthy friend to this. And then they tried to get my children taking it at school with no parental consent required. I will never forgive or forget.

I am raising my grandson. I keep getting am email from Canimmunize stating I have a child in grade 7 and need to fill out there application for him to be in their program...he won't be part of their program...ill make sure he isn't there that day...or I will pull him out and home school him myself! 🇨🇦
They were offering ALL (female and MALE) high school students including my teenage son the HPV shot at high school. I found out about it while talking to my son. I told him not to take it.
It seems that society deems teens who want the shot more mature than adults who refuse. They're not old enough to drink, drive or vote, but deemed mature enough to go and have a medical procedure. Go figure!
@@kathy4451 i admire your bravery. I have a son in grade school. He lost his mom last December a few weeks after getting the jab. My ex had a congenital heart problem but still went on to get 2 doses. My son now lives with his grandma for the time being upon her request to help deal with the loss. Grandma's unvaxxed and certainly wouldn't let my son be part of the experiment either.

Absolutely. Is anyone thinking that they should be brought back and given a promotion? They're the kind of people we need - willing to understand the science and stand up for their principles. Those who signed under duress should perhaps be compensated by those who put them in that position, while those who put pressure on their colleagues probably need to be sacked, if not pursued in the courts of law.

Some of my extended family took the jab. However I had 3 elderly aunts that died about 3 months after the jab. I also have family who refused it and are doing just fine and never got sick from this c$%#d. I have been given warning before for speaking on the topic on utube. God bless those people for contributing to the truth of this matter.
Dr. John, I've followed you since early in the pandemic. I didn't agree with you in the beginning but felt you were fair and giving the facts as they were revealed to us by the powers that be. I've appreciated your open mind and as you saw "the light" you weren't afraid to say what was hard to believe! You're frustration is shared by so many of us. As a health-care worker that had to move to be able to work unvaxxed I applaud you...keep speaking truth!

I held out until November 2021 and got it mainly because I couldn't function in society or even go into McDonald's with my family. I am so mad with myself coz if I had only waited a few months until covid was replaced with Ukraine I could have gotten away free. It was literally the day Russia invaded that covid was forgotten about. Next crisis i suppose. Dont ned covid now that we have ww3 to make them afraid. I've had no side effects though. I did pull the nurse aside and go through the needle aspiration bit with them. They did that for me even though they had been told NOT to.

i sometimes i avoid watching your videos because the ideas i had two years ago about exactly this are now being proven and discussed by a reputable individual such as yourself. It all feels so real. It makes me feel sick to my stomach that I was right, and that things really are this bad. I'm only young, I had goals to have a family and have a home. Let the silver lining be that you expend time on discovering existential solutions & find true freedom as a consciousness on this planet. This pandemic & how a lot of the world responded should fillip this in us.

My late mum was coerced into having the vaccine in a care home where she was temporarily and effectively imprisoned. It was her son, the then Chief Pharmaceutical Officer for England who persuaded mum to have the first dose of the AZ v only 4 weeks after she'd tested positive for Covid. Mum was still recovering from Covid when the first dose was administered. 4 weeks after that mum decided that she may as well have the second dose. Mum developed post menopausal bleeding and tests showed low platelets. Unbeknown to me, about 3 months after second dose, the GP took mum off anticoagulants because of the bleeding. Mum suffered a major stroke about 9 days later from which she didn't recover because the hospital put her on end of life drugs and stopped fluids. Mum died 11 days later. I am still very traumatised by it all and want justice for mum and for every other person affected. Pleased to see people speaking out at last.

My mom also died ten months after poke from kidney failure. She never had any problems with kidneys before.. I felt like this drug just speed up some of people’s life .. right in front of our eyes.

I'm from Canada, lost my job as well because of my refusal. It caused a lot of damage to me, the job was one but the worst was the damage to my mental health. Seeing such blatant corruption and how the gov was intentionally harming its citizens. My mom took the vax and now she has multiple cancers in her body, she's in surgery today. Please pray for her.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom, I know several people right now with aggressive cancers, I've never know this many at one time before.
We are gagged in NZ. Those who refused the jab here suffered job loss, social ostracism and told by our government that we are a river of filth. So sad to hear of those forced and then suffering or dying. It is sickening.
I repeatedly asked my HR office to provide me with clear evidence that the jab was A. safe and B. effective. After 25 years working for the health department in Queensland, Australia, i was never provided with this but they sacked me in stead. Mentioning misconduct even. Never heard from my fully jabbed colleagues either. I'm so glad I was able to stand my ground though. Despite being on a minimal income now, i would make that decision all over again.

I refused 'it'. I was ostracised, ridiculed and bullied for it by everyone I encountered. My family turned on me. They told me either take 'it' or move out, but they gave up on it. My work colleagues, save a handful, treated me like I was crazy.
I had to have counselling for several months as I'd contemplated suicide. Despite my improved state, those thoughts still creep on my mind.
Despite the fact our government were caught on multiple occasions breaking all the Orwellian restrictions they'd forced onto us, accountability and retribution has still not been sufficiently carried out.
Even with most restrictions being lifted months ago, there's still a lot that needs to be done.
24HR LATER UPDATE:
Words can hardly express how touched I am feeling tonight. So many people praising me for sticking to my guns and not buckling under peer pressure. It really does prove that I'm not alone in this. None of us are.

I told him he didn't raise me to be a whore to sell my body to anyone who wanted to put sh*t in it. Luckily, I had prepped for lockdowns, economic downtown, and job loss as soon as Covid started spreading around China, so I had some F you money and supplies. I told my work I would not take the shot, nor would I test weekly since people who had the shot didn't also have to do it, even though they could still spread the virus. I said that wasn't about keeping Covid out of the office, but about punishing people who had exercised their legal right to refuse, and I wasn't a child to put up with being punished.
A year later and I still work there. Either they needed me more than they loved the idea of the shot, or firing someone in the legal department over a forced medical procedure made them nervous.

There was a FB group that was for 'died suddenly' in UK. It reached 300,000 subscribers in a very short time. People gave testimonies about loved ones. It was horrific! FB were very quick to take the group down, with no reason why! Speaks volumes I do believe. This is just the very tip of the iceberg.
I was part of that group and now there are many others being set up on other platforms but you can not mention the words vaccine, vaccines 💉 vaccinated, jab, jabbed or just about any other word that could be perceived as the vaccine!
This shows there is no such thing as freedom of speech on any social media platforms and if you say anything that goes against these tyrannical agendas then you will be shut down or vilified 🤦♂️😕

Censorship, that's the reason why. You're not allowed to talk against the chosen narrative. The chosen narrative is that it is "safe and effective" and that every person on the planet should get it and if you don't, well then, you're just a bad person. How dare anyone say there's any harm in taking it! It's considered "misinformation".
In case you didn't know... pharma companies/gov/media (includes social media) work together... that's why it's not allowed on FB. It's also why any information that contradicts the narrative is flagged by "fact checkers"

Thank you for bringing this to our attention Dr John. I was unlucky enough to be in ICU with covid, but that still wasn't enough to make me want the vaccine. My family eventually pushed me into getting 2 jabs which I regret. I wish I was stronger to have stuck to my beliefs. I didn't need any jabs, I had the best form of immunity from having covid.

We have learned that CMS, Center for Medicare Services, requested approval of the Supreme Court of the US (SCOTUS) for a vaccine mandate on healthcare workers, as it was felt that would encourage more of the public to receive the Experimental Use Authorization "vaccines". The Dept. of Defense study of 6,000 military members and dependents, published in Vaccine journal January 20, 2020, reported that those receiving the annual 'preventive' flu vaccine were at 36% risk of contracting the next coronavirus flu than those not taking the (free) annual vaccine.
The SCOTUS approval effectively made the healthcare workers' industry exempt from the competition for labor in other industries that resulted in wage escalation.

I am a doctor and I refused the vaccine after unventfully recovering from covid in 2020.
I understood that the vaccine was meant for the elderly and the vulnerable, and I could not believe my eyes when the medical and nursing schools students in my town were fully vaccinated in january 2021, while their grandparents were isolated at home waiting for their first dose.
I was then certain that the children were going to be jabbed.

I hope you were one if those who spoke out and actually challenged the narrative! I am a nurse in the NHS & I completely refused to take the vaccine, was shown the door & I did, but just before I could clear my desk at work, the law changed!! We have to be strong enough as professionals to stand up against malpractice at all cost!!

I’m a registered nurse of 15 years living and working in Victoria Australia. If I don’t get the covid booster by the end of this week I loose my job and cannot work as a nurse in this state. Already had covid with barely any symptoms. We are so short staffed at work, never seen such a staffing crisis in my career, yet I will get fired for not having the booster. Seen young patients who have had adverse reactions and they just get dismissed in this country. No healthcare professional is allowed to question the covid vaccine here otherwise you will loose your registration. I like my job and want to work but that’s not enough in this bloody county 😢

It seems you are coming to understand what some of us have known from the beginning. I remember unsubscribing from your channel in 2021 because if your views on the jab. The truth always comes to light and I’m glad your light is turning on! Rest In Peace my father who died with a body full of blood clots after AstraZeneca. They speak plainly here about covid policy failures, and are now moving to prevent further harm by putting the vaccine under more scrutiny for its potential harm to otherwise healthy people. Thank you Dr Campbell. Watching your programmes is like having a friend in the room. Your calm, clear, no-nonsense approach to the problems we face today is uplifting. I would not like to be either a politician or a research worker today. They are answerable to those invisible to us, who pull their strings. We are living in a society which is creeping towards zero responsibility at the highest levels, unless it is convenient to pull the rug. We have these long chains of people all pointing fingers so it's almost impossible for the public to say: and the buck stops there. My question is harsh: Who will defend those without a voice in a spineless society? The backbone is needed at the top. Leaders who lead by example who genuinely care about the people. Still optimistic, still hoping for a better world, still working towards that goal.

I am 73 and unvacinated, I had a very bad reaction to the Flu Vaccine in 1978 when due to a bad epidemic the Flu Vaccine was offered to members of the Emergency Services, of which I was one. Following receiving this i was regularly unwell that entire Winter and this time, was the only time, in my entire life that I was off work unwell. I vowed then never to have the Flu Jab again and have never done so. I suspect I had the original Wuhan Strain back in Jan 2020 , before any of us knew what it was, when I had the most horrendous Fever & Cough which lasted about five days, so I assume that I have a high degree of Natural Immunity I take VitD3 & Zinc daily. When the C19 jab was announced I did my reaseach and vowed not to play Russian Roulette with my life. The longer this has gone on the happier I am with my choice.

I'm proudly unvaccinated. The risk vs benefit was never clear enough for me to make a decision. But my position caused me to change jobs, nearly lost employment, lost friendships. My child lost a scholarship and was prevented from attending school social events and excursions. After living under threat for 18 months we've lost faith in humanity really. It never needed to come to this.

We have to remember that Covid changed. It was dangerous in the beginning, but by the time the vaccines came along Covid was already getting weaker. Still risky for some, but the risks have reduced and we knew more.
In order to fairly review we need to have a Timeline with how dangerous the versions of covid were at the time each decision was made.
There's a big difference in Covids between the COVID of the crying Italian doctors in fear of their lives versus the COVID of the Canadian truckers sitting healthily in their trucks.
All of you, we are in the together, each of us trying to make the best decisions we can. Please think of each other as friends when we chat to each other. It helps to reduce emotion and hostility, and increase our chances of working together to find the better answers and knowledge for each other. I have friends and family on both sides who all mean well, as I'm sure you have those people too. Be kind to each other, don't let them divide us in our search for the truth.
We need to find the best way forward, allow for the fact that Covid changed, and come up with some ways to handle this better the next time around. Perhaps rules will have risk limits built into them, vaccine mandates well only be allowed above a certain threshold of risk, to the individual, group, etc, and the balance of economy, mental health, community and our way of life.
How refreshing when an mp can admit they were wrong in a vote they participated in... To err is human and I have far more respect for someone who can hold up their hands and say, "sorry, I was misguided at the time" , than a psychopath that takes no responsibility for their harmful actions. My 75 yr old mother has a blood clot two days post the Moderna Bivalent Vax....a life threatening condition to which her GP ascribed merely to chance, and made further comment that it 'couldn't be the Vax as it only, very rarely, causes clotting in males and not females!!' my mother was sent to A&E after becoming increasingly unwell and met by the triage nurse who rolled her eyes when my mother recounted this conversation. On my insistence I helped my mother complete the MHRA yellow card report (a challenge even to me, a relatively intelligent, IT literate, 50 yr old). I'm staggered that it's not a medical /legal responsibility by primary/secondary care health authorities to report these events...and it doesn't surprise me that there is such massive under--reporting. Shameful!

Sorry about your mum. My mum ended up with a blood clot which caused a heart attack which led to a massive stroke after having the moderna booster jab. She is now a prisoner in her own body as she can't move or talk and is now in a palliative care nursing home and she still ended up getting covid.

I hope there is a legal challenge - as an NHS worker i've never been so terrified as when. I was forced into taking the first dose and then 4 days later they removed and mandate - my employer and managers people i've known for years just stood by and did nothing - horrifying stuff.

I live in France, I'm 66 and unvaccinated. When I needed some medical help after an accident, it was refused to me being unvaccinated and I went to a healer someone recommended and was happy with the result fortunately. The questions raised about the way the vaccine was imposed to the population, and it's safety... in your clips are paramount in a democracy and I wish the government here would raise them too. I must say regardless of our many other problems, the British have always been amongst the most skeptical about this whole business. Boris, for all his sins, recognised how unpopular lockdown measures and vaccine mandates were and, for his own political benefit, was one of the earliest leaders to drop all restrictions.

He is qualified to interpret and disseminate data from medical and scientific publications... a PhD educated nurse has a HIGHER level of education than a doctor that holds basic medical degree. You don't need to be a "doctor " to be an expert in the health care field... Other disciplines exist and have equal training to interpret health information. What's your PhD in?

Despite often being mocked, I'm so relieved that I trusted my own health and immunity during this, something just did not feel right in my own being with much of this. And my family was split, and yet those in my own family who went with the narrative have become ill and on a regular basis which fills me with no joy but does with utter concern
For the life of me I can't understand how so many people were duped into taking these jabs and buying in to the constant fear mongering. It was so obvious that something was deeply wrong and yet they lined up like sheep. I get that propaganda can be powerful but theirs wasn't even good or convincing in any way... With the amount of people that have been (and are gonna be) hurt by these jabs I wish that us "conspiracy theorists" were wrong, but sadly we're just being proven more and more correct.

Something I think people seem to forget is that the ones who think that they're protected are the ones who are going to go most out of their way to get infected.
If you just don't like being sick or were legitimately afraid of it (whether you should be or not is another question entirely but just accepting one might be) and wanted to take control into your own hands you were obviously going to be far less likely to get sick.
As part of the control group, of course you would see yourself getting sick less than someone who just does whatever because they think there's a shield in their blood and/or on their face.
Is there something wrong with it? Possibly but idiots getting sick more because they're idiots is certainly very likely.
I never got the other yearly ones either and I also never got sick because I took it into my own hands to simply practice good hygiene etc. Does it mean that those made people get it? Maybe, can't say I've looked into them, but I'm pretty sure it was just me being careful because I hate being sick causing me to not be sick for 15 years.
Myself (67), my sister (72) and my youngest daughter (25) all had that same gut feeling and it was clear from the start they were cutting corners.
We were pushed by friends, colleagues and family who finally smelled a rat with the idea of regular boosters.
I think they all now realise it was foolish on their part.
It is understandable as we've been trained all our lives to trust these authorities.
Pretty sure that trust is gone forever in our family whether jabbed or unjabbed
