This message was so on point and is so needed in our society and in lives that are broken and lost. The Church must get better at helping and discipiing people.
Definitely no matter what happens to you, God has a plan for you. He keeps you in the palm of His hand. He trains you and you get closer, stronger and promoted. Satan will try to destroy you but he always looses. You are eternal and you're being trained on earth for eternity !!❤❤

Churches just won’t allow his gifts to be used.
Leave the church and go to a church where God's five-fold ministry is accepted and preached. I had to do the same. God bless you and your beloved husband.

Dr. Doug, was not very knowledgeable about God at that time. So he made a request that made sense to him at his need. Now as he grew in Christ, I'm sure that he recognized his immaturity in telling God his time table that he wanted God to move on.
People should understand context and not rush quickly to judge!

I am one of the many that have experienced abuse in various ways from a very young age. In stating that, I by the Grace of God fervently pray that Holy Almighty Father God enlighten the hearts of ones who believe Dr. Doug was arrogantly mocking Holy Almighty God. He was in physical, mental, and spiritual pain calling out for help. A broken spirit seeking healing and purpose.
My reason for commenting before I read some confused and misunderstood responses was re "Lazarus and the rich man" analysis.
According to KJV Bible version, it was the rich man that asked father Abraham to send to his father's house to warn his five brothers, not Lazarus.

Sadly, my daughter doesn't want to go to keep looking for
a church because the ones we have gone to have a lot of division and gossiping; also, she loves to sing and feels that is how she worships, but they only choose family members for their music group or solos in choir. She can only go to service after 1 or 2p because she has many medical conditions and sleeps during the day. We live in CA, and finding a conservative church that follows the Lord's Word is challenging.
Sandals Church in different cities. Has Saturday night services.
@@laraelawrence247 thank you for the tip... unfortunately, not nothing accessible to where we live, CA, close to the border with Mexico. Our vehicle is not in conditions to go more than 15 miles... mostly local, good for some of my daughter's doctors, but I appreciate the interest. Blessings
Is a Calvary Chapel by you? They may even have ppl to get you there if close enough.
Singing is Worshiping our Father! She is blessed to have a good voice to do so.
Also, look to see if there’s a Christian Coffee Shop close. I go to one that has wonderful worship music every Sun eve.
Food & fellowship after. Very blessed.
Volunteers sing & lead the worship. Some are excellent! Give them contracts, Lord!
