Spending time with your sweet family feels like I'm with my own family. Love hearing you talk about the way things used to be, It reminds me of my childhood listening to my Elder's conversate. Yes, there have been lots of changes over the past year, but I love how God always gives beauty for ashes, strength for fear, goodness and mercy are ever so near. Happy Spring Tipper!
I love to hear you say that you’re going to “just walk down and see Cory and Austin’s house “. what a blessing that you can live so close together.
Tipper…I just shed a tear every time you chat about Miss Cindy. She was the same age as my husband Jack and as I watch him struggle to live each day to the best of his ability it brings a Myriad of emotions to the surface. Jack has battled an auto immune disease that attacked his kidneys and he now is on dialysis 3 days a week. It’s like watching him run a marathon every treatment day. I’m grateful he’s still with me and I know only God knows for how long but watching someone full of health be brought to their knees in a matter of months is painful all the way around. I enjoy watching you as you share your life with us, pray daily for Granny and her late life struggles but mostly I thank you for always reminding us that no matter what life goes on and we will survive every hiccup God brings to our lives!!!:):):)
God bless you and your husband dear lady!
Bless you! I will pray for Jack and you too! I know it is hard on you both!!
I'm praying for you and your husband. My husband was also on dialysis three times weekly. Please check into a kidney transplant. I wish someone had told me. Take care. ❤🙏
🙏
Praying for you and your husband.
Tipper you are a tremendous blessing! I like to make a cup of coffee when I join you on the channel. lt feels like visiting with a friend. God bless!!
Love that! Thank you 😊

Tipper, I know your pain about losing Miss Cindy. In 6 months my husband and I lost his mother and my father both to cancer. We stayed with them and helped them. There was nothing doctors could do but provide pain med. We will see them again someday. Prayers for you and Matt. ❤❤🙏🙏✝️
I’m so sorry you lost them.
You were doubly blessed with your daughters and now with 2 grandsons. God is so good!
Everyone in your family has taught me something. But the thing that stands out most is to have love for one another. Oh, how the world would be different if we all had families like yours! May the Lord continue to bless you!
God is good! Thank you 🙏
I just hope that Austin’s parents get to enjoy their grandson too!!
@@marthawalton8370of course they will…what an odd comment…
@@marthawalton8370 Of course they will-actually they already are 😊by visiting and supporting Austin, Corie, and the baby. One of the best things about them moving houses is the larger square footage. Company can come and stay as long as they want with their own rooms and bath 😊
@@taintedlove202 so sorry!
Tipper I did very much enjoy watching this video today. Life changes in the blink of an eye, but Gods love never changes. Sending much love and prayers.
Days with you Tipper makes me feel so at Peace.TY❤️🙏
I’m so glad you enjoy the videos 😊
I’ve been gardening for a short while, this will be my 4th year. It is one of the most therapeutic activities and one that brings me so close to the Lord. We, too, have had many changes in the last few years. Some joyous and some with grief. Every little sprout and beautiful spring bloom, along with the birds chirping, is a reminder that makes me so grateful for the care we receive in our lives. “His eye is on the sparrow…”
Thank you for sharing the joy of nature and family. You are such a blessing!
I’m 76, healthy and living alone. My son and his family are too far away to visit. It seems like changes in my life are coming faster than I can run. Not easy. Thank you for recognizing that change is sometimes good and sometimes bad. But we can’t return to the past, or make unreasonable plans for the future, which means being comfortable in the present.
I’ll be thinking of you! Thank you for visiting with us 😊
I was out yesterday,...I noticed all along the highway there is so many Redbuds. But, the Dogwoods are blooming! 😊😊 The hills are greening up. Thank you Jesus! Thank you!
I can envision the grandkids playing on those steps and their delight in finding blueberries to snack on. Playing outside at my grandparent's house is one of my favorite childhood memories. Climbing the transparent apple trees when they were in bloom was the best. I was lucky to be able to walk to their house even as a small child. There's much more joy ahead for your family.
New things growing, all the green makes me feel so renewed. Prayers for you all! And for those of you that were kind enough to pray for my sister in law with leukemia, Yajie, she is going to have a bone marrow transplant soon. Thank you for your prayers!
Thank you! I will keep praying 😊
@@CelebratingAppalachia Thank you for your Christian witness when it's so needed in today's world.
Continued prayers and blessings for you and your family. God is good.
@@nancysaul7369 Thank you!
Always our pleasure to watch you fixin' up your garden. The flowers already adding such pretty colors. I noticed Matt, Katie, Ira and Binks wandering around when you were weeding. Hope your blueberry bush does good. You got a lot done.
Thank you for sharing memories and modeling for us how to stay connected to life all around us through the love and loss of family, growing a garden, and the changing seasons. Your wisdom, way with words, and vulnerability are such gifts. You help us understand the grace in knowing change while celebrating Appalachia.🌱
You are so kind. Thank you 😊
Sometimes I wonder how y’all are comfortable sharing so much of your life. I watch all of your videos. But today I realized that even though you share a lot of your everyday chores and up and down events your emotions for the events you share are a lot deeper than what I saw. Your life is very different from last year this time. I love your family.
I love to see the joy and such excitement you have every time you're out in nature planting 🌱 cleaning out the weeds.... God's timing is always the right time. Praying and Blessed!

Thank you Linda 😊
I love cleaning up a flower bed. It just seems so neat and full of promise when I'm done.
Gardening is differently therapeutic, work yes, but such joy watching new growth. God give us so much, fruits of our labor. Such wonderful gifts surround us. Blessing to you all!
Tipper it is such an honor to sit with you and plant with you.Talk about heart break and the joys, they really run parallel with each other.
I don’t know what it is… But when you get emotional Mrs.Tipper… I start to crying. You and your family are just so Special. God Bless you all.
That crabapple tree is just gorgeous! God bless your precious family! We all are simply blessed! 😀❤️
Tipper, I could not be happier for you and your family. Even with sorrow and unexpected change, God takes care of us. You work so hard and are so kind to take time to share your life with us!!!
Thank you 😊
Enjoying Matt's videos keep it up buddy .

@@CelebratingAppalachia yes...update on Granny please and how she's enjoying little Ira !
Tipper, I love watching and celebrating Appalachia. Thank you for sharing your home and family. For the recipes, the gardening, your stories and most of all your compassion and passion for people and for the work you and Matt do as a team as husband and wife. You two set the example of what family is and should be. P.S. love the t-shirt "We eat Okree in Appalachia. 😊🙏
Life evolves, brings tears for me too-both glad and sad. If only yard work could get done like in that sped up video! Don’t focus too much on the getting behind in the garden part, just enjoy it all and be present for so many significant milestones of life. 🌸
Tipper! You are amazing! Such a hard worker and your knowledge is endless! Great family life 💐
Thanks so much!
Something missing here! Popsicle time with Matt ❣️❣️
Hopefully soon 😊
You were wonderful company today tipper, you sounded so positive and overjoyed about the direction your wonderful family and life are taking, and getting teary eyed just shows your tenderness and love for everything around you .I’m sure all your followers love to see the real you. God bless

With everything y’all have gone through over the past year, the hard things and the happy things, y’all have handled them with pose and grace. Thankful for the good things you named and along with Granny recovering too. All good things and the blessings yet to come!
Also…Matt’s retirement from his secular job. Your family truly has experienced all the joys, losses and growth that makes life…life; however, your family has been richly blessed our loving God through and the unity your family🌸
You have described our lives to a tee. New birth, joyfully, of our grandchildren, but also, sadly, the death of our elderly parents.
I really enjoy the garden time, the reminiscence of the year both good and sad. Our hearts nearly burst with heartache ,then ,we receive great blessings to comfort and heal . God bless
Bless you and yours! I've been dealing with an older sibling who is developing dementia. She was never easy, but now it is hurtful and very difficult. Your videos, especially your garden videos, help me center and focus so I can function. Life is change. Every cycle has a beginning and end. Thanks, Tipper. Your family's videos really and truly help. ❤
I’m so sorry. I will pray for you both!! So glad you enjoy the videos!

I always tell my wife, let's enjoy our blessings now because we don't know what next year might bring.
As you enjoy the outdoors and gardening, let me remind you to enjoy coming down those steps like a young girl. LOL I can't do that anymore. Wish I could, but I still enjoy gardening.....slowly
Nothing stays the same in this world. I'm so glad that it's in God's hands. I would have missed out on so many blessings if I had been the one in control. Thanks, the Lord for the changes.
To garden is a healing process,no matter how I feel its better when Im outside in my garden.
It was great seeing you outside starting gardening, as I know you love doing that in the greatest way! I hope everything you plant ones up well and that your harvest will be great! Yes, we’ve all had changes over the last year. I’m so sad about those you’ve lost during the past year. Less than a month ago I lost my wonderful son in law to a cancer similar to what Matt’s mother had. He’d recently had his forty-ninth birthday. They have one child who’s been out of high school since last spring and was going to college, but now is working and staying at home with his mother and younger sibling. We just never know what’s coming our way! I’m thankful you have a new grand baby and that Corie and Austin will soon be living closer to you, as they will be giving you your next grand baby! So exciting! I hope your sweet mother continues to be as well as possible! No doubt she is crocheting things for babies!
I know you all miss him so much!! I’m sorry he died way too young. Thank you for your kindness!!
So much can happen in a blink of an eye. The older we get, I'm 67, the faster time seems to go by. A lot has happened in your family, some sad and some blessings. We all need to take time to reflect on our lives from time to time and try to find the blessings in those moments that make memories. Watching your video made me think of my loss of energy and stamina to do things like I did in my younger days. I actually laughed, and I thank you for that, when you sped up the video while you were working. I did my share of working in my younger days but now I'm thankful I can sit and remember and am blessed that I got to do the things I did. Thank you for telling us about your journey this past year and what weighed on your mind. You now have a new chapter in your life to continue through your grandchildren. I had 4, but the 11-month-old twins died in a horrible house fire back in 2002. My two oldest are in their 20's now and have been the best thing that ever happened to me beside the birth of my only child. You have much joy to look forward to. Take care and be safe.
I’m so sorry they died. I just can’t imagine. I’m glad you enjoy our videos!!
One of my favorite posts, Tipper. ❤ "God is good, all the time." The trials make the blessings all the better.
Thank you Tipper. You're so right about "what happens in a year." So many changes! This past year has been rough but I'm looking forward to moving to a senior citizen apartment and sort of starting over. Never thought I'd be starting over at age 70. But hoping I'll be happy. Your videos always lift my spirits and I'm so happy for Katie and Corrie. Those babies will grow up together and will always be there for each other! How great!! God bless you all!!
I sure hope you will be happy too! I’ll be praying for you!! So glad you enjoy our videos 😊
Tipper great job you did on the garden. It breaks my heart when I hear about the tragedy’s of last year. But there’s always a rainbow and two new babies are such a wonderful, wonderful thing to be happening. Our God is great… he closes one door but he open two or three windows. God bless us all.❤
So proud y’all will have Austin & Corie close…it’s a comfort to a parent/grandparent. Life changes are unavoidable, but with each heartache, we usually find a blessing from it. Supper would be leftovers or a quick sandwich if I’d done all you did today 😳 continued prayers for all !!
God and life work in mysterious ways, when u least expect it. Losing loved family members is so hard and then God gives u a precious grandchild and another on the way. Your family reminds me of my grandparents and brings joy to my heart. Take care and enjoy all the blessings the Lord has bestowed on your family.
my grandma would have loved your yard and garden . she loved growing things. she absolutely loved growing roses and her food garden and canned every year
You’re so right about the changes that take place in our lives that we would never have thought would be…..some sad & some happy…all in God’s plan…sending prayers fir Granny & your whole family ❤
Tipper, counting her blessings; seeing what God has done 🎉
😊
I so enjoy you talking about your garden and showing it to us. Praying for Granny too and hoping she can feel better soon
❤
Tipper I went to my favorite plant store yesterday with a friend. I bought more perennials to plant in my yard. We moved here 3 years ago and I’ve been “improving” the flowerbeds each spring. I got out about 8:00 am. And got everything in the ground so they can enjoy the rain this evening. I love seeing all the beautiful things growing in your yard and garden. I’m so happy for your whole family with the addition of Ira, Corie and Austin getting to move before their little one arrives, the blessing of Granny still being with you, and the beauty of God’s blessing on the place where you live. Thank you for sharing it all with us!
That is great! Thank you 😊
Virtual hugs to you. I’m touched by the personal touch of your videos. It is a special feeling that you’ve been able to incorporate that makes your channel so special. Sharing this with us is a privilege and much appreciated. Success sometimes means sharing. And the numbers who feel like a part of your family might seem daunting but it’s a small world. Thanks again.
Job well done.
I have never in my life seen a crab apple tree so big! We don't have much at all coming up right now. Just some chives that managed to grow up through our deck.
Thank you for watching 😊
Love seeing Binx zip thru the garden while you cleaned the garden! Those beds look so tidy, now.
I love glimpses of Binx, too, Jennifer. He'd better enjoy his easy time now 'cause once Ira and then his little cousin get to crawling and then up on their feet, Binx's life will never be the same!
All this rain, and you are so busy! Thank goodness for Matt! Yard will be okay, still chilly!
Tipper you got so much work done! You’ll sleep great tonight. I love when you take us out to the gardens. Thanks for sharing your blessed life. 🙏🏻🤗
Tipper, I always enjoy when you sit a spell and talk about life - leaves me encouraged and with much to think about. Your yard is beginning to flourish as spring has sprung!
What a hard worker, great wife and mother you are, Im sure you are tired at the end of your busy busy days, God Bless you and your wonderful family Stay safe and well
Change is hard, it hurts, nothing stays the same. In all the changes, underneath are the everlasting arms. We couldn’t do it, without being upheld by a mighty Savior.
I’m just a hop, skip and a jump from y’all in Demorest, GA. I’m a little late getting my garden ready this year. My husband has been in the hospital twice in the last month. He’s home now and slowly getting better.
Just finished tilling my garden spot and hoping to plant in the next couple of weeks. Once that’s done I have a large patch of English ivy I want to clear out around some trees. I try to work an hour or so each day outside to get a little done. That way I can still keep an eye on my husband.
Working in the yard and garden renews my spirit. I love watching everything grow and the flowers blooming. Have lots of bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and birds. So peaceful and gives me hope for tomorrow.
Always enjoy your videos,
Thank you! Praying your husband is soon well!!
I'm so sorry for the losses your family has been through this year. The Good Lord will see you through. Sending hugs and love to y'all. Thanks for taking us in the garden with you Miss Tipper! Glad everyone is doing all right. Korie and Austin's new house is looking great, with every new upgrade y'all do, it looks better. Sending y'all love from Memphis!~
Oh Tipper, I feel your sorrow. Today s very dear, dear friend went home to be with Jesus. He only lived here from first of April til October. He had been diagnosed with cancer last summer. The last day of the Rabun flea market last fall we hugged their necks & told them we’d see them in the Spring. Well, he was hospitalized about 4 weeks ago. Luckily we got to go to Florida to see him. We never thought it would be the last time. Life keeps pushing forward and I don’t think we are ever truly ready for the unexpected or unplanned changes. But God always has us in His arms and we make it through. I understand your tears of joy and the tears of loss. My hubby has been battling cancer since 2013. We have been blessed beyond what we deserve. But God. His plans are best and so is His perfect timing. Hug that baby for me. 😊❤😊🙏
I’m sorry Donna!! We appreciate all you do for us. I will pray for you all.
Tipper you are a person who has her head on straight! You know what is important in life.
I’m so happy for the positive changes your family has had recently. Last year was a rough one for you guys.
I found your channel shortly before Miss Cindy passed away & I truly am sorry for your loss. Our family has suffered a cpl of devastating losses over the last cpl of years also and we’ve also had some wonderful blessings. My granddaughter is about to be 8 months old and she is the light of my life. It passes by so fast, like lightening in the sky.. so fast.
I really, truly enjoy your channel and the sense of home-like goodness and comfort it gives me. The world is a scary place out there in these times and sometimes when I’m full of angst or anxiety I find myself wanting to turn to you and your family to help me feel better. I want to thank you sincerely for that & for sharing yourselves with the world. Thank you. 🙏🏼♥️🥹

Tipper, I was just thinking the other day of the difference a year makes...for me my 5th baby born & now a year old, a job promotion & worry over our family poultry farm that suffered loss with disease & high maintenance costs. Then I look around just as you did & see the hope & goodness of God. No matter where life takes us or circumstances that come, our one true hope is in Jesus❤ God bless your sweet growing family and all your labor in the garden. Your family is an inspiration and model of what's good and right in the world❤

Such a sweet video, Tipper. Enjoyed watching you clean up your flower beds and the other work outside.
