@@kabelomogale5721 Drill is sub genre of trap that took heavy influence from footwork music mostly from Chicago but there's also influences from other places such as late 00s atlanta trap and some other southern hip hop influences in general. It differs from trap in terms of production in that there's more extensive use of drum fills and more sparse drawn out/driving melodic elements. Currently there's a bunch of different drill scenes and they all make different kinda shit to varying degrees. Chicago and UK Drill are very different while NY Drill often seems to take heavy influence from both.
