With every reason to love your dog, it can be slightly difficult to measure their love toward you. Pets cannot put their love into words, but will use other means such as subtle body language or over-the-top displays of affection. I agree..I've had my lil baby now for almost a year..since he was 8 weeks old..and I being a senior can only pray that I go before he does, I love him that much, and when its his time to go that I will be waiting for him up there by the gates..there is nothing on this planet that compares with the love between your pet and you..nothing, unconditionally, pure love is what they offer to each and everyone that is blessed to have a devoted animal ❤..🐕👩🦯❤

first one was my first dog, and she was a breeze to raise and she turned into a fantastic dog.
this one...not so much. i have confirmed that she knows when she's doing things that she's not supposed to do, and she doesn't care.
both pit bulls...just got an asshole this time around. hoping that she eventually grows out of her obnoxious stage...

since i do have a great deal of dog experience, i am trying to work through my pup's issues on my own.
she's made a tremendous strides in the 7 months that i've had her, though her progress has not been linear. the only major concern is how, at 9 months old, she's still very interested in aggressive play. that started day 2, when she was 10 weeks old.
i've been trying to avoid indulging her, which is what i should have done from the very beginning, but i was so taken aback by the way she came at me. i'm talking...barking, growling, charging me with puppy teeth...at 10 weeks old!
if this 9 month old pup were anything resembling the absolute bundle of chaos that she was our first 2.5 weeks together, she'd have been gone long ago.

My dog was put to sleep after 2 decades with me. It’s been 94 days and I’ll be in pain forever. My only damn friend. The only thing I had. Now I really just work, sleep and repeat. From my pre teens to my 30’s. What a bond. RIP Snow Miles Davis 🤍. At least he was healthy, just old 😭

I agree their love is everlasting and forever. I show reverence to all animals especially dogs they were out here for a purpose and they are committed to doing it well that is why when they die we cry our eyes out and never forget them. They deserve our respect always.

I have a rescue that has a bad start to life. I got her at a little over 2 years old. It took me a long time to get her to really trust me but after a year and 1/2 she has now started jumping up in my bed and sleeping with me. I almost cried the first time she did it. It was the ultimate break through for us. She is SO loving now.

Well my dog loves me. All of them have.. They sleep on me & next to me & my horses show some the same signs. Socks shirts slippers. Lol birds chipmunk or what ever he shares , he’s a golden retriever ✌️
My dad's rescue, in her first day home, immediately greeted me with rail wags and kisses
I don't even live there. Now she snuggles up to me and takes a nap whenever I visit.

I just looked over from the computer to find my dog, lying at my feet, boring a hole in me with deep stare. Soon as she locked eyes with me, she slow blinked. I slow blinked back, she smiled, and then she went back to sleep. I can't believe I used to think I wasn't a dog person -- I've never known such true, pure love.

My dog always got the sadest look when I left and told her she had to stay home she was used to going everywhere with me as she was my service dog and when she was retired it broke her heart to have to stay home

@@Thomasnmi more often then not she went with even after retirement. Some ppl couldn't understand why I'd leave her home even as an active service animal some days. She was a pure black lab mix and when my air conditioner went out in my all black car I refused to take her with when it was 100 degrees outside. I'd of rather had a medical emergency then a dead service dog especially since I lived 32 miles from town. We had 3 air conditioners at home so if one went out there were still 2 working ones going to keep her cool. They say service dogs are working or medical equipment however she was every bit of a family member maybe even more so then our family dogs and I miss her terribly everysingle day that she's been gone

I kind of wish they lived around as long as we do. But I’m not sure that would be good because they would be as likely to lose us, and my heart aches every time I hear about a dog who survives their owner, as they’re thoroughly heartbroken, and I don’t wish that on any dog. Their love is so pure that their grief must be overwhelming.

My dog will do eye contact and then pointed his eyes to where he wants to go if he wants to go outside or if he wants to eat or if he wants to go to my bedroom. So I do the same thing back to him. It's so adorable

Our 15 month old Corgi really loves us. He steals socks and shoes all the time. Doesn’t tear them up, just takes them. Finally, he will give them back most of the time.

All pets have a way to say they love you. A bird, a dog, a cat, and yes even a rat.
I know my dog loves me and can tell time. He wakes me up promptly at 5 AM every morning. At 9:30 PM He lets me know it's his bedtime. He also knows meal time and lets go walking to the fire plug time and lets retrieve the ball time. If I fail to respect any of these times it pisses him off and he becomes very annoyed and lets me know in no uncertain terms, but he loves me.

My first dog that I bought on my own as an adult, I remember coming home from work to my then puppy laying in the grass on a pile of my dirty laundry lol (Back then I rented a room on a "gentleman" farm, few goats and chickens) . I am currently dog less, but thats changing soon, but I spend a fair amount of time with my neighbor's siberian husky. Am friends with them, they bought their house next door about 9 years ago....being disabled I am home a lot and last year they took in a year old husky pup, and because these are people that I talk to almost everyday (at a safe distance back then) But Max let's me know if he is in the back yard for me to come over and scratch his back. the last time he got out, and came to me to lead him home the father next door realized that the dog and me make funny noises back and forth to each other, but Max doesn't do that with them. So it's kinda cool knowing their dog loves me, not from treats, but from playing fetch and back scratches!

My dog was my sons dog he passed so she accepts me but he was gone a lot so she lays in her bed a lot doesn’t play with any toy or ball never learned to walk on a leash is a bit aloof and barks when anyone walks along the street but doesn’t bark much at all. She tells me someone’s at the door because I can’t hear the doorbell so I tell her that’s a good girl. When my grandson brings girls to the house she barks to be sure I know there’s a stranger here so I have to make sure she knows it’s time to stop. Outside she barks at one neighbor but only for a couple seconds. She doesn’t like the stepdad. She barks if the kids are playing loud games but just for a few seconds then she just lays down on the porch. They accidentally throw balls over the fence but she never touches them. When I come out if I see them I drop them back over the fence. She only poops in one place around the side of the house where I rarely go by the air conditioner so I go with my broom and long dust pan and sweep it up sometime before the mower guy comes! She’s little so it’s not bad it’s dry and easy to pick up. She never touches anything in the house but her own bowl of water and food. Precious Chihuahua. I bathe her and clean her glands so she doesn’t smell. Really the perfect dog but she won’t walk on a leash just lays down so I’m trying to nudge her so I can walk her! My son let her play in the yard and he just watched her but she would start down the sidewalk sometimes and he’d yell her back to the yard. She doesn’t always want to come back so I don’t do that. She loves to lay on the lawnmower in the garage and watch people walking but with the storm door she lays at the front door some! She loves my grandson but he’s gone a lot. She’s quit barking now when he comes home from work. He always comes and pets her. Her bed is on a stool in the living room. Sometimes I’m asleep! She’s on guard! I cough if she sleeps in my room but if it Thunders loud she pushes my door open and gets on my bed. I keep a rubber band across the latch on my door so she can come in if she needs me! She learned that the first time!
Try walking her on a harness.
Harness a good idea ! I think she thinks I’m punishing her but maybe it will work!
@@faydenereed4056 , good luck. If that doesn't work , Google how to leash train a dog. There have to be a bunch of good videos on CZcams. Let me know if it works with the harness , if it doesn't I have another idea that might do the trick.
@@rottweilerfun9520 You can use a tie down while your with your dog in the yard to get it use to playing and wondering in the grass, then graduate to harness.
It sound like you are learning from experience. You care. Good job. Some dogs as they get old stay in their beds a lot because they are achy. It's normal for dogs to bark for a short period when someone enters your yard or house. Reinforce good behavior with petting sweet voice or treat and same words , like good girl, bad girl stern voice and expression. Buy new toys at Dollar Tree, only a dollar each, and put out a few new toys every week to see if this peaks your dogs interest.
Stealing my shows is a big deal and I've given up trying to arrange them...because they wind up by my babys food bowl...he also sometimes just wants attention enough that when I realize he wants up, I put my computer on the table and he gets up on me an sits on me....I also am very aware of when he really HATES my computer and understanding that, I generally put it on the table so he can again, sit on me...he's wonderful!
