hey steve, we have som shure sm58s at school and we need to mic up some vibes for a live performance. will they work the same way as your mics? i am playing with a jazz combo so one alto sax, a drum kit, a double bass and a trombone.

When playing in a loud environment, do you think it'd be better to use lower mics? Is it less likely to get feedback that it could be another advantage of using lower mics?
