Winter Catfishing: This Catfish Ate Something HUGE!

- The craziest thing I've found in a big catfish yet! It was HUGE! I can't believe this fish even bit my bait on this winter catfishing trip!
I was out chasing after some big blue catfish trying to put some trophy catfish in the boat pulling planer boards and drift fishing. The first catfish in the boat was a nice trophy blue catfish. It didn't take long and we landed the second big catfish and when I went to remove the hook from the fish I found something CRAZY hanging out of the mouth of the fish. After further investigation, I found the craziest thing I've pulled out of the mouth of a big catfish yet. I safely removed it and released the fish to fight another day.

I’ve been catching carp and bass easily lately but not catfish. I caught a 17 pound carp the other day

I’ve given up on catfish until about March. I can’t find any shad and everything else i use for bait doesn’t catch me anything in hours. I’ll go out for 5 hours and catch a dink blue or nothing at all

I was fishing in a creek inlet on a small private lake after a good rain the water was moving and dirtyi ended up catching a couple 5lb channels 1 of them had a whole rotten rib with meat from some sort of dead animal like a raccoon or some other type of road kill hanging out his mouth even catfish like lamb chops lol it was gross

@@Catfishedge yeah I know you have touched plenty nasty stuff.. I was just kidding . Caught a 2 lb cat one time had whole turkey feet in stomach.. He was smart enough to swallow them leg end first.. Guess a a hunter tossed em in the river after cleaning.
